WASHINGTON, D.C. -- After the midterm elections that saw the Democratic Party suffer significant losses in Congress, a record-low 36% of Americans say they have a favorable opinion of the party, down six percentage points from before the elections. The Republican Party's favorable rating, at 42%, is essentially unchanged from 40%. This marks the first time since September 2011 that the Republican Party has had a higher favorability rating than the Democratic Party.

Republican and Democratic Party Favorables, 1992-2014

These results come from a Nov. 6-9 Gallup poll, conducted after Republicans enjoyed a breathtaking sweep of important contests throughout the country in this year's midterms. The party gained control of the Senate and will likely capture its largest House majority in nearly a century. Additionally, the GOP now controls 31 governorships and two-thirds of state legislative chambers.

Keep talking the labor participation rate versus the so called unemployment numbers.
Also talk a lot about Democrat illegal alien amnesty.

People here I bet don’t all know that our courts made document fraud by illegals to be OK because they were so innocent and all that when they went to parks and paid shady characters for a false ID or filed false tax returns for thousands of dollars.
We need those kinds of people as legal residents and citizens like we need ISIL terrorists as kindergarten teachers IMO.

Gallup: GOP Congress More Popular Than Obama

"Not soon after his media-enabled reelection, when President Obama's poll numbers almost immediately began to crater, the media narrative shifted to the steady drumbeat of, "But the approval rating for Congress is much lower." That spin was obviously directed at Republicans, who controlled Congress. Although "congress" can mean both the Democrat-controlled Senate and the House, this was a nifty rhetorical trick the media used to argue that the GOP was in worse shape than Obama. "

I guess this poll was taken before that guy was saying the only way ObamaCare passed was based on the the stupidity of those that supported it also.

Couldn't have done it without the gang of three. Who better to present the dems' message of statist tyranny, mixed with gross incompetence and historically poor management of virtually everything.

A more carefully written poll would have revealed that both parties are down there in the teens.

1. Do you have a positive or negative opinion about the Democrat party?
2. Do you have a positive or negative opinion about the Republican party?
3. Do you feel that both parties are a boil on the country's buttocks and ought to be collected on a barge, set to sea, and sunk somewhere over the Marianas Trench?

I dare them to ask that one.

President Flim-Flam Leads Democrats To Midterm Massacre

The White House has denied claims that the midterm elections were a referendum on Barack Obama, but the polling data shows that they were. According to a CBS News exit poll:"

“Fifty-four percent of those surveyed said their opinion of the president influenced their vote… 34 percent said they wanted to make a statement in opposition to Mr. Obama, while 20 percent said they voted in support of him.”

“It’s Obama’s Fault”

That is the catch phrase for the 2016 elections!

It should be noted that this is not an exoneration of Republicans.

EbolaObama has become the Baghdad Bob for the rat party.

He is delusional and like all psycho narcissists, is unable to face the reality of this last election.

A simple and quick analysis of the 2014 election and the rats former younger voters:

Besides not ‘liking’ EbolaObama or their grim reality of Obama Economics, the younger generation has nothing in common with the Geriatric Hate America leaders of the rat party.

The Democrats, who run America and control Obama, are too old, too rich, and very/very white.

The Clintoons, the very old and very white and very rich, worn out icons/heroes of the aging Rat party, like so many of the elite rat power insiders are ancient in age and in their political core of hating America to get votes.

There are the other geriatric leaders of the rat party: Reid, Pelosi, Boxer, Fineswine, Madam Secretary Kerry, Bidden, and others. They started their power trips in the 1960/70’s with a core of Hate America, anti business and supposedly concerned about pseudo racism. They have blamed America for the problems created by them and their allies here and around the world for decades.

Decades, later, they haven’t changed and still push their out of date anti America core beliefs to buy and pay for their feral voters. Their biggest failure, the War on Poverty, is in their minds, their biggest success.

They have left only false hope and no chance for change for the younger voters of America. Mean while they have looted the treasury and made their families and friends super wealthy elitist chrony capitalists. This leaves nothing but massive debts for our younger Americans.

Their so called younger stars are as dumb as a rock. Their pro abortion Barbies and gay Kens with even harsher anti America values. As a result, these younger Rat wannabees struck out badly during this past election as did their passe older generation.

Their phony strident constant racist bs strategy pushed by the rats’s ancient token Blacks Charlie Rangle, Jessie Jack$on/Al $harpton backed by Eric Holder carried no more weight with the younger generation than the phony war on women bs strategy.

So the current ancient rats, ancient and strident Racist Blacks and “strike out newbees, Abortion Barbies”, had nothing to offer younger Americans besides more pain and blatant attempts to take away their hopes and dreams.

Baghdad Obama has lost it in many ways, and he is unable to realize these two simple realities:

1. Their ancient voters are dying off or getting warehoused in dementia treatment centers and are in a daily and rapidly declining percent of the voting population.

2. The ancient, harmful and passe’ political tactics of the Rats has lost the vote of younger Americans.

Thanks for the link directly to Gallup.

Does anyone else find it annoying that Drudge posts the Gallup headline, and then links not to the Gallup article but rather to a Politico article which has zero information other than what Gallup reported? So gallup is doing all the work and Politico is getting all the traffic and advertising dollars for Gallup’s work.

Am I missing something?

I agree that he is destroying the dem party. And the dems are likely going to be handicapped in 2016 because of Obama and Jarrett. I wonder if some dems are now thinking of getting rid of Obama before 2016. In other words, if impeachment charges are brought up and it goes through the House and Senate, there may be enough democrats to vote to remove him from office. It may save the party with Biden replacing obama before 2016. Instead of dems circling the wagons, they may vote for self preservation since obama as essentially abandoned the dem party after 2012.

Thoughts anyone?
