Maybe the plane was serviced by certified mechanics who cant tell a wing tank fuel sensor from a fuselage fuel sensor, as happened to a friend of mine.Maybe you might remember the DC-10 had a design problem from the beginning. The cargo door tended to blow out and caused the accident near Paris in 1974. I wonder if this was similar?
