I was a kid later than you. I lived all over this country. The kids I knew worked their butts off. Daddy could not put them through college and pay for their cars and dates and they were EXPECTED to work. It may be a class thing.
HOA’s are evil
In this state no one can buy a house without knowing there are HOA covenants to deal with... if there are such covenants. Buying a house where there is an HOA is a choice.
Every homebuyer should be able to choose if they want to be part of the HOA or not, no matter what the previous owner decided.
BUt yeah... the guy who buys a 700k house in our neighborhood and thinks he's gonna park two junk cars and a boat in the driveway for an extended period of time has probably made a mistake.
So what if a homeowner doesn’t want to pay for the lawn guy, he wants to do his own lawn or pay his cousin to do it instead? Does he have the choice?
Absolutely... I mow my own yard. The HOA pays for all of the common areas (like around the little lakes, the entrances, etc to be mowed) The HOA fees pay for all of flowers, and the trees at all of the entrances to be cared for. That sort of stuff. The HOA does not pay for any individuals yard maintenance.

With millions of people being brought in-The help programs available are going to be stretched to the breaking point. This will end up leaving nothing for anyone (see Greece) . Then again, that is the plan isn't it?
As an Illustration, I work in Arborculture. We have a lot of Hispanics (mostly Legal, hard to get a CDL if you are Illegal), and you are more likely to see Whites on the crew than Blacks.
They know that block is good for 9 votes in 10 no matter what. Why spend political capital on such a reliably lame voting block?

If memory serves something like 80% of blacks voted for Hubert Humphrey over Richard Nixon. The ratio has improved for Democrats since then.
To me that was fascinating in those days of yore since the Democrat Party, in those days of yore, was the Party that embraced the Ku Klux Klan and supplied Klansmen. Heck, the most recent Klansman Senator to check out was a Democrat.
A Democrat invented the Great Society, and you could not find a more reliable program to subjugate blacks than the Great Society.
Every chance they get Democrats work overtime to saw off the rungs of the ladder that would allow blacks to climb onto the prosperity tier.
Still, blacks stampede to vote for Democrats to this day. Some pundits even like to pay lip service to the drivel that blacks have finally seen the light...as a group, that is. I'll believe it when reliable exit polling says so.
In the meantime, Democrats won't be divorcing them, but they won't do anything to help blacks or encourage blacks to help themselves. Well, that isn't exactly right. Their actions encourage blacks to help themselves. Democrat speeches, on the other hand, say blacks are fools if they try.
IDK why they vote dem OR become muslim
