Ricky Jackson had been seeking a new trial and sobbed loudly with his face in his hands as prosecutors dismissed his case Tuesday, The Plain Dealer reported.

"I can't believe this is over," Jackson, 57, said, thanking his supporters and his attorneys from the Ohio Innocence Project.

There should be a law

Any witness, da, cop or other who directly contributes to a wrongful conviction by withholding e diencephalic, lying, conspiring or other action will serve the same sentence of the wrongfully convicted and forfeit their assets to that person

What he makes of it will determine what kind of character he has. What you suggest would be the action of someone who has no character. He has a cause if he wants to take up the crusade. Or he could just live quietly with his new found appreciation for life without iron bars.

“Cuyahoga County Prosecutor Timothy McGinty said the case fell apart after witness Eddie Vernon recanted. Vernon said he had been fed details of the crime by police and kept quiet about his lies because investigators had threatened to imprison his parents.”

Couldn’t be. Everyone knows that in the “good old days”, folks didn’t do things like that.

The kid was threatened.

Ahh, isn’t it great how much responsibility government and its agents feel they should have, while their goal is demand for perfect responsibility for the citizens?

Are you quoting someone, or are those your own statements? Never mind the article quote.

I am only replying to this old thread to clear myself.

Note my post #12. I am already aware of the corruption.

Basic quip still stands, though. Kids can lie, whether they mean to or not or why they would.
