It was good music and not one of the “bubble gum” songs.

They keep dying. When will the madness end? Soon we are going to have no more music left.

Johnny Cash won't be coming down for breakfast. Half the Beatles are dead - but not Paul (yet). McFadden & Whitehead are dead, dead, dead. And so are pretty much all the Ramones. Laura Branigan is gone. Pat Benatar too - remember when half the girls in the shopping mall had her hairdo? Donna Summer, most the Bee Gees and Andy Gibb too. Also the drummer whose name I can't remember from that one band that used to play all those concerts. Whitney Houston, Ricky Wilson from the B-52s, some of Lynyrd Skynyrd and Kurt Cobain too.

At the rate we are going, all the musical stars will be gone and there will be no more music.

I think you’ve prematurely buried Pat Benatar. She’s still performing.

A great song. It kind of hits you harder when you are sad about something.

Perhaps the only contribution still lingering from Detroit...MOTOWN The music will be remembered as will those who made the music. RIP, sir.

Ruffin was the older brother of Temptations lead singer David Ruffin, who died in 1991 at age 50.

The way I've heard it was, Jimmy auditioned and had the job with the Temps, but even he had to admit, he couldn't dance. David got the job.
