I don’t think there’s any “reversing” this once it’s enacted.

I feel the defeatism too. However, this is brazenly unconstitutional, and there is a sliver of hope that the courts see this the same way too.
To: SeekAndFind
Once Obama hands out 5 million green cards the courts are going to take them back from those people? Fat chance!
To: SeekAndFind
They can certainly issue an injunction, telling the authorities in the states to pay no attention to the dictates of the bureaucrats in Washington.

After the sham of ObamaDontCare, I hold absolutely NO HOPE that any of this gets invalidated.America as we know it is over.
I wish I felt differently.

Having the liberal Turley representing the Congress is a big advantage too.

Congress must defund the actions required by the EO. One thing would be to block funds to issue the green cards and anything else related to the mechanics of implementing the EO. They should do the same thing for Obamacare but the Supreme Court will gut that law at some point soon.

The SC could invalidate his amnesty plan, but there still isn’t a way to make him enforce the laws on the books.

I wonder if the SCOTUS is aware obama couldn’t care less what the SCOTUS has to say, after all it is just their opinion, besides in an Absolute Monarchy the king cannot be overruled; every body knows that.

It seems that this is not a waste of Boehner’s time: if the Supreme Court ever had any purpose at all, judging a President’s blatant tyranny and treason ought to be at the top of their list.
Problem is, of course, that - like Congress - the Supremes have no guns. Obama has all the guns under the control of his branch of the government. All except the ones the citizens have . . . . are we considered a “branch” of our government? Why, I believe so.

The People are higher than any branch of government.
We are the body that's grants all authority to it.
