There has to be massive protests across the United States (a la the 2000 election protests that were held around the country) including the capital cities of every state in the union and other major cities.

I would think that it should coincide with the swearing in of the new Congress. (Saturday, 01/03/2015).

“The SCOTUS may realize that unless 0bama is stopped here, there would be little to prevent 0bama or a future POTUS from placing armed guards around the Supreme Court building to keep the justices out. Or just directing the Treasury to not write salary checks to the justices and their clerks. Or just disregarding their opinions in the same way as disregarding Congress.”

This is a very good point. Because, this is just the first of many executive “actions”. Emperor Obama is seeing just how far he can go, following the tried and true footsteps of dictators everywhere. The most recent example was Chavez of Venezuela. But Hitler did the same thing. If a dictator is elected, he gradually accumulates more and more power. That is how it works. In Obama’s case, one of the biggest sources of his power is the old media.

“It seems what is missing is the ability for Congress to go directly to the Supreme Court for a relatively quick decision on issues of this nature.”

They can do that, and the Supreme Court could agree to hear it immediately.

So, why didn’t they do it RE: Obamacare and Immigration?
