I would tell you to look at this as to who President Obama is. He is a president who is unable to get anything done with Congress, sees immigration as a national security issue and like really a Theodore Roosevelt or FDR is going to lay down this heavy marker on history right now and become in doing so a folk hero to Latino Americans.

If some future Republican President allowed 40 million Chinese to come to the United States illegally he’d be a ‘hero’ to millions of Chinese.

It never occurs to our betters that immigration policy is supposed to serve the interests of citizens. It is not supposed to be a means of managing demographics, or voting patterns, or wage levels, or providing grunt labor for farms or even high tech labor for industry. It is supposed to serve the interests of citizens first, foremost, and only.
But worry not; no one will ever ask you to approve of immigration policy. There will never even ask your opinion before issuing their directives and quotas.

You have good reason to feel that way. Your voting power has been replaced by non Americans.
However, I am pretty angry too. We always talk about what is the tipping point.
I guess there isn’t one, although we might get pissed when they haul us off to re-education camps or deny us medical care. These things are not crazy to think anymore.
