--SNIP-- Today more than 230 thousand Chinese students make up over a quarter of international student population at U.S. universities, contributing billions of dollars in the U.S. economy. Beijing alone sends over 50 thousand students to the U.S each year. That is equivalent 7 percent of the entire Seattle population. The University of Washington has close to four thousand students from China. --SNIP-- Believe me, this will pay huge dividends for American and Chinese citizens, said John Kerry, the U.S. Secret of State at Beijings press conference, as he gave out the first 11 travelers visa.

I assume they pay full sticker price, which is very helpful for “big education”
Probably; twenty years ago my state college in NJ had lots of them. Schools have been attracting them for years to boost enrollment.
They don’t go back, either (who would?); we’ve been trafficking Asians here for white-collar work for decades.
I would have thought NJ state schools alone had 230K Red Chinese students (and that was decades ago). I think every official number released is understated by half...
The Asians educate themselves, have low crime rates, don’t whine, and become productive citizens.
Refreshing.

Sure, that is a good thing; however, like Mexicans, they aren’t American and they steal American jobs.
230,000 Chinese students.
And none of them can drive worth a damn. That’s not prejudice, yhat’s personal observation.
CC
Chinese steal US designs
Good point; we are training them to replace us as the manufacturing capital of the world.
Don’t they have black people in California?—
Nope, everyone is tanned.
And none of them can drive worth a damn. Thats not prejudice, yhats personal observation.”
Asians in general are bad drivers. It is ironic that the Japanese can build good cars but cannot drive cars.
Also ironic, the Africans and Arabs are good drivers, but they make no cars. Just disease and terrorism. So many cabs re run by these last two groups that they could probably shut down a lot of the commerce in major cities.
“Asians in general are bad drivers”

Nonsense.

China does use the students it sends as an information resource, farming out requests for small amounts of information to thousands. It is harder to track by counter-intelligence authorities here, but it gives the Chinese a far bigger picture and more information overall here. It is everything from “get info on the advancements at the defense affiliated projects at your college” to “build up a bio on person XYZ” to “go to this machine and click this link, let it run”.
Thank you for stating what should be obvious, but sadly is not.
yep, we are covered up in Chinese students at Virginia Tech
