i wonder if a new jurisdiction is needed. for want of a label, i would tentatively christen it the super-state jurisdiction. the super-state jurisdiction would simply be a jurisdiction in which all state and all federal laws were faithfully executed by all officials. any state or federal official entering the jurisdiction would be bound to execute all such laws, regardless of federal executive nullification or delay. state officials already do this, presumably. federal officials... could be hauled into a super-state court if sued, let’s say, by the state itself, if accused by a prosecutor or grand jury operating in the super-state jurisdiction of inequitable administration of federal law on the books.

This sounds drastic and might be limited in feasibility at the every day level, much like writs of mandamus in current state and federal courts. Another tack might be to revamp EOs, which to my understanding take effect because technically the USA is in a perpetual state of war. We would be unwise to stand down from the perpetual state altogether since in practice it would leave the USA too slow to react to sudden acts of international aggression (blitzkrieg, terrorism, nuclear strike, etc.). So maybe the breadth of applicability of EOs needs to be scaled further back. I believe that defensive strikes by the USA against another country need to be approved by Congress within something like 60 days, for example.

It seems to me Obama is picking for a fight with Congress and now a majority of the USA citizens. It seems to me Obama is walking a very dangerous line and forming some very dangerous modern legal precedents which threaten current US law as currently practiced. So while both of these ideas may seem extreme and fanciful, I do prefer to find a peaceful solution the problem of exercise of apparently near-unlimited executive power to the point that Obama is now exercising with amnesty.

Currency (financial impact) would probably be an important issue for “any” state successful in separating from its original contract...

Printing a “currency” would be the least of that issue...

I do not believe using American currency (dollar) as a base for another countries (Republic, ahem...) financial transactions would hurt (that economy) anymore than it already is (or would be)...
