TOP REPUBLICANS: WE MUST STOP OBAMA'S AMNESTY, AND WE WILL
Breitbart ^ | November 21, 2014 | by MATTHEW BOYLE

Several top Republicans have issued statements in response to Obama’s executive amnesty order announcement promising to stop him. Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA), the outgoing chairman of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, said, “we cannot let this stand.” “The President’s unilateral actions on immigration are a violation of his responsibilities and the trust the American people have placed in him,” Issa said.

“President Obama is playing a dangerous political game with lives and deepening the mistrust that the American people and Congress have in his ability to faithfully execute the law. The President is not respecting our system of checks and balances—we cannot let this stand.” Rep. Richard Hudson (R-NC) promised to do everything he can to stop Obama.

“Granting amnesty to those here illegally is an affront to American workers and the people who are trying to join our country legally,” Hudson said. “As I’ve said before, I recognize our immigration system is broken and in need of reform, but I cannot and will not support any type of immigration reform until we secure the border first. We need to pass permanent, meaningful reforms that address the root of the problem to stop the influx of illegal immigration. I will do everything in my power to block the administration’s illegal amnesty policies and remain committed to working with my colleagues to secure our borders and fix our broken immigration system.”

Rep. Jeff Duncan (R-SC) said he expects Obama to veto attempts to stop him, but Republicans should do everything they can to block him.

By such talk void of action,
the EXEMPT have long enabled the Tyrant,
never even questioning his lack of documentation.
Not once.

The reason the Tyrant was empowered is because
they have NEVER done anything to him, or anyone
else accountable, in the past.

Not one arrest. Ever.
.... While THEY remain EXEMPT
having already permitted violation of Equal under Law
for their Tyrant.

In terms of the Take Care clause, “take care that the laws be faithfully executed”, we have a botched execution.

Every time I hear a Republican talk this way I cringe because I know nothing will happen. I believe this past election WAS about stopping Obama and his lawlessness. I also believe the Republican victory in this past election will be short lived if nothing is done to stop Obama.

I’m for tossing the whole book at the guy.

So far all I see is talk, promises of more talk, and even some talk of thinking about it.

They knew this was coming for weeks.

So this morning comes and it looks like nothing but chaos at the GOPe Grayhound station.

They’re catching a bus to nowhere!

They think we haven’t noticed.

We’re on to them. They’re total failures.

When will these Republicans quit being mean to Democrats? Don’t they understand that the Democrats need to do this. Without this action, they just won’t have enough votes to turn back the evil conservative tide that swept over the local, state, and national elections in November. The numbers just don’t work. Importing voters is the way to go, and everyone in the media needs to get out there and tell whatever lies are necessary to ensure that these people get signed up to vote and show up at the polls in 2016.

They will stop it by passing comprehensive immigration reform.

The Republicans have known this was coming and had time to prepare for it. First thing this morning they should have been in Federal Court requesting an injuction to prevent the implementation of the provisions of the executive order pending a ruling of the court. The only possible explanation is that they honestly don’t think that Obama’s actions were unconstitutional and that’s flat out insane.

Where’s the plan of action? Without it, the whole thing is just posturing.

I think people should continue to call their representatives or go to their facebook pages to post your views against Obama’s overreaches. I just think the liberal republicans and conservatives are battling over how to handle this. I pray for the conservatives to win. They cannot give up and fall into the media’s trap that they will hurt the republican party. There are a number of traps out there and the first one was Karl Rove saying don’t be too critical against the illegals and Obama and don’t use the “I” word.

I wonder if any Federal employees or managers could refuse to carry out the EO on the grounds that it is an unconstitutional illegal order, and if they are disciplined, they can file a lawsuit that it is an illegal order?

Doncha’ know? — Boehner has filed a lawsuit ... that’s sure to scare obama enough to cancel his planned EO .... (do I really have to add “/sarc”?)

“The only possible explanation is that they honestly don’t think that Obama’s actions were unconstitutional and that’s flat out insane.”

No, it’s time for a vacation and they all left town.

I predict they will holler, get berated by the media and the President and do nothing of consequence.

In the meantime, the border trails will turn into highways.

I’ll pull this prediction back up after the smokes clears....
