On June 4, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) warned that President Barack Obama could face "impeachment" if he continued to release terror detainees from the military prison facility at Guantánamo Bay without Congress's explicit approval. On Thursday, however--the same day that the president announced his unilateral executive amnesty--Obama released five more terror detainees from Guantánamo, including four Al Qaeda fighters.
At the time, Graham told The Hill: “It’s going to be impossible for them to flow prisoners out of Gitmo now without a huge backlash....There will be people on our side calling for his impeachment if he did that.”
The context was the trade of five senior Taliban leaders for American Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl--a release in violation of the National Defense Authorization Act's requirement that Congress receive 30 days' notice. Though it falls to the House to draft and consider articles of impeachment, Graham is considered one of the more senior members of the Senate caucus on foreign affairs and national security. He has yet to criticize the President's latest Guantánamo release, however.
The last press release on Graham's Senate website is dated Nov. 7, and his Twitter and Facebook pages attack Obama's executive amnesty, but not the prisoner release.

It’s just exhausting to watch King BO run the country like this. He has totally neutered congress. Why do we even need them and why are they so Afraid of him and impeachment. It’s impeachment of him or the end of the country. Seems like a pretty simple choice to me.

His enemies are not the terrorists who murder people as they go about their lives, nor are his enemies the rioting thugs, and they aren’t he baby killers, nor the “money bundling’ liars, thieves or perverts - no - the enemies of the President of the United States are the backbone of America - we the people - who go about our daily lives working, contributing and law abiding and simply expecting others to do the same.
BHO is a very sick person for a variety of reasons. We are paying the price for Gruber’s correct assessment of the stupidity of the voters.
His desire to be impeached by the Republicans borders on desperation.
He seems to want to goad the Republicans to impeach him on issues such as illegal alien amnesty and Gitmo that are cause celeb among his base. These two causes of action for impeachment would almost certainly result in a Clintonesque scenario where he is impeached by the House, but not removed from office by the Senate because of Democrat support.
It follows that there are other causes of action for impeachment floating around out there that he can, and probably will be impeached because of, and which are serious enough that Democrats in the Senate would not just be forced to support, they would be forced to lead the charge for Obama’s removal from office.

Okay, so obam is usurping more congressional authority. Why should he stop if there is no consequence. Since "reasonable" republicans have disavowed their legitimate recourse, how seriously is the usurper going to take the "scary" threats?

Just because it is not illegal to lie for political purposes, does not make it right. The Bama administration did nothing illegal, they just lied repeatedly.
He's not sick and he's not insane. President Barack "Ebola" Obama hates America -- white America in particular, to his very core. Obama wants to destroy as much of white America as he can while he still has the power of the presidency. If Obama could pull off a Stalin or Pol Pot type of action against the white, Christian population of America, he would.

Thanks to the Newt Clown show that set a precedent which nullified and emasculated the impeachment process, Obama knows that no president will ever again be impeached.
