A grand jury has reached a decision on whether to indict Darren Wilson, the white Ferguson, Mo. police officer whose fatal shooting of an unarmed black teenager sparked days of turbulent protests, sources close to the process said.
Sources said that press conferences are being prepared by the county prosecutors’ office and the Missouri governor. Those press conferences will likely come later today.

It is calculated on their part. One of their objectives is to get a severe reaction from ordinary people, so that we can be painted as dangerous, etc. It is still unfolding. Over the next few days, we'll see if they get their desired reaction. The biggest win for them will be if they can elicit a reaction that can somehow be viewed a s racist bigotry. Of course it has nothing to do with blacks or racism, but we are being gaslighted into believing that blacks are responsible. This is different than Watts. The local black community is not doing this. They're just doing some low-level looting.

Norm, reports on scanner indicate a high powered rifle is being fired at Police. Police retreating from the area of Chambers. More scanner reports of automatic weapons fire. I expect assessment and regrouping in a.m. briefings. Call just went out for more Officers to respond to Ferguson to surrounding LE. LE will not retreat forever. This is going to become nasty quickly. Therefore am in agreement with Matt.
Ferguson is getting Barbecued.

My agreement ... Many pawns out there on the streets of Ferguson. After briefings early a.m. am expecting an FBI nationwide alert to all Police Departments and many National Guard units being activated.
The whole problem with this entire race situation in America is that the powers that be play defense. If they believed in equal rights for all men/women, they would apply and enforce them. And that means shutting down the race pimps day 1, followed by an of their disciples. they didn’t. They cowered and EVERY TIME one cowers, the problem grows and fixing it is harder.
With this as with my other issue on FR, there’s no going back to fix things. The problem grew and now cities will burn. We can collectively beg for more cowardice or stand up for what’s right and enforce the damn laws.
And that includes ALL the criminal laws. Enforced FULLY.

Norm, I hate (truly hate) if this situation goes nationwide but is looking very possible. Nightmares, for all of us, if this situation goes nationwide.
