Officer Darren Wilson has, through his legal team, put out a statement reacting to the news tonight he will not be indicted by the Ferguson grand jury for the shooting of Michael Brown.
Here is the statement in full:
Today, a St. Louis County grand jury released its decision that no charges would be filed in the case involving Officer Darren Wilson. From the onset, we have maintained and the grand jury agreed that Officer Wilsons action on August 9 were in accordance with the laws and regulations that govern the procedures of an officer.
In a case of this magnitude, a team of prosecutors rightfully presented evidence to this St. Louis County grand jury. This group of citizens, drawn at random from the community, listened to witnesses and heard all the evidence in the case. Based on the evidence and witness testimony, the grand jury collectively determined there was no basis for criminal charges against Officer Wilson.
Law enforcement personnel must frequently make split-second and difficult decisions. Officer Wilson followed his training and followed the law.
We recognize that many people will want to second-guess the grand jurys decision. We would encourage anyone who wants to express an opinion do so in a respectful and peaceful manner.
On a side note, Officer Wilson would like to thank those who have stood by his side throughout the process. This continued support is greatly appreciated by Officer Wilson and his family.
Moving forward, any commentary on this matter will be done in the appropriate venue and not through the media.

U r welcome. :)
Shepard Smith?
A cigar thieving thug named Mike Brown
Decided to act like a clown,
And thought it would be fun
To go for a cop’s gun,
And that’s why he’s no longer around.
Hank
Too bad the police were not allowed such tactics.
I just saw something very upsetting. CNN had what they call a I report, a black woman on camera asks, what am I to tell my children.
So they choose this woman to be on air live after showing her earlier I report that she sent electronically to CNN.
Brooke Baldwin has her on for a fairly lengthy interview, asking what on earth do I tell my children, she refers to Mike Brown and Trayvon Martin as being non aggressive and being shot anyway???
At no point does the host even offer the other side, one of the most upsetting things I can recall watching.
So shameful of the host and CNN, not to mention at some point in her I report tape she took the Lords name in vain GD.
At no point did she or the host say they should teach their children to not rob and assault store clerks or not to take a officers gun etc.
How can these people hold their heads up?
The correct answer: "Okay kids... Have you ever heard of Chris Rock? Well sit down and let me play this video for you..." Then show them this: Chris Rock's Public Service Announcement
Language warning!
Kudos Officer Wilson. You are being framed by selfish and racist politicians and career haters. The truth is on your side
Yes that was funny, some good points, but done as comedy, but I guess it would be better than nothing.
Be polite, respect the officer dont swear, with a bit more serious tone, could work.
was funny thanks
I would say that he behaved reasonably and within his training and showed a lot of courage. But I would not call him a hero. I feel like a hero would have figured out how to salvage the situation without killing anyone.
It is time for Officer Wilson to head home to TX. Do not mess with TX police thugs!
And such efforts will as always land up in the fed courts where they will be struck down.
lets not forget that Zimmerman got screwed over,,,he was originally and rightfully cleared of any charges by the Sanford P.D....then the mob mentality won out and and a “special prosecutor” was appointed...then hilarity ensued as they actually went to trial ...most ridiculous trial i ever saw.
In the wake of this incident, we have seen NOTHING other than Officer Wilson acting like a professional, a man who did his duty under the worst of circumstances and is now the focus of people who would punish him for it. This sickens me...my dad was a cop, I grew up around cops. It takes a certain kind of person to be able to do this job, and most people couldn’t. Cops seldom receive headlines or thanks for the good work they do 24/7. It is only the “bad apples” who get on page one and I don’t care WHAT Al Sharpton and the looters say, THIS man did his job. There is a lesson in this for all of us.
