A student at Georgetown University wrote in an op-ed piece that he was 'Not at all' shocked that a recent mugging he suffered at gunpoint took place.
Senior Oliver Friedfeld said in his piece,'I Was Mugged, And I Understand Why,'that he questioned his own ability to criticize his attackers,citing his 'perch of privilege.'

They may have let you go. Black rage isn't all it's cracked up to be. I suspect a lot of blacks go along with the whole "hate whitey" meme, but their hearts aren't in it. They felt social pressure to mug a cracker, but most of them probably have white friends, and have been treated decently by white people, so it was some sort of perverse right (or actually wrong) of passage. Glad no one got hurt, but it's nonsense and bullshit and people, white and black, do get hurt like that.

I had this discussion with a local teen.
He had his IPod stolen from his locker.
He said “I guess it is ok, the kid was probably poor and needed it more than I did.”
I was all over him.
I said: what an arrogant insulting statement you have made. Assuming poor people are not moral people. Assuming that one cannot have integrity or honor in poverty.
You are so wrong, There are many many books about impoverished people acting with integrity. Learn your history so you will not say anything as insulting again.
Never mistake immorality for poverty.
