NEW YORK (PIX11) - Police arrested multiple people at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade Thursday after a protesters broke from their designated route and clashed with officers.
Seven people were arrested, according to the NYPD after a group of people tried to overturn a trash can and run toward the parade route.

You have to have rocks for brains if you challenge the NYPD. This was not a good plan.
Back in the day of responsible journalism, this little item would have been spiked.
These protests have been created to last right up until the 2016 presidential election, IMO. If a republican wins the protests will continue at least until Inauguration Day.
For a force that dealt with 9-11, they probably aren't amused by these thug parade crashers.

And .. since the Mayor has cancelled the “stop and frisk” rule for suspicious activity .. they are probably even more unwilling to put up with any kind of mischief.
