[Opinion] Best Ad in Cassidy-Landrieu Runoff
TV ad running in Louisiana post November 4, 2014 | 30-Nov-2014 | Vanity

Posted on 11/30/2014 9:01:53 AM PST by topher

Sometimes what makes a very good TV ad is that you don't know it is a TV ad until it is almost over.

In this ad, it starts by a woman talking about how she is pregnant and bleeding and concern for her baby (unborn). Then the husband starts talking about the bleeding and prospect of a pre-mature birth.

Next, the couple shows the baby born at 24 weeks, and remarking how beautiful the baby is. It is commented on how viable the baby is at this point.

Next the ad talks about late term abortions and how terrible they are.

Finally, the viewer finds out that Mary Landrieu supports and has voted for late term abortions.

This ad will appeal to Catholic South Louisiana and to Christian (Bible belt) North Louisiana.

Louisiana has had Democratic Senators and Congressmen that were pro-life when they were in office (John Breaux and Christopher John).

I feel if this ad is shown more, fewer people that might have voted for Landrieu will not show up at the polls or they will vote for Cassidy, even if they were Landrieu supporters.

I wish I could find URLs (links) for all these ads.

Landrieu has aired a third ad that is not a LIBERAL-HATE-AD-AGAINST-Cassidy. This ad tries to be positive.

But it is consistent with the other Landrieu ads -- it does not touch on any issues.

It just states that some DING-BAT Louisiana newspapers support her.

For this ad by Landrieu, she must be banking on how STUPID she believes voters to be...

Powerful ad.

People need to know exactly 'what' is being aborted. It is a baby. Not a tomato.

Will any other Republican candidate ever have enough courage to run an ad like that in the future?

And as for Mr. Cassidy, if he wins next week’s election and becomes a U.S. Senator, will he immediately go mute and start acting like he was given a lobotomy by Mitch McConnell like so many other Republicans in the Senate?

Louisiana voters, come out by the hundreds of thousands, and vote against Mary “Obama” Landrieu next Saturday, December 6, 2014 and destroy this evil “Obamabot”, Democrat low life, abortion queen. She needs to be absolutely slaughtered at the ballot box next week, to send a clear message to all Democrat vermin and especially that “SATAN” Potus Barack Hussein “I love the Muslim Brotherhood” Obama!!!!

They used that ad in North Carolina (though they changed it for what Landrieu stood for).

The North Carolina version was before the November 4th election, and was put together by a PAC set up by Karl Rove.

Louisiana is STRONGLY PRO-LIFE, which is why it helps ANY CANDIDATE in LOUISIANA to run such a STRONG PRO-LIFE ad.

Back in either the late 1990's or early 2000's, the [Roman Catholic] Archbishop of New Orleans boycotted a commencement at Xavier (or is it Loyola) that would have honored the Landrieu family BECAUSE THEY ARE SO STRONGLY PRO-ABORTION.

Mary has received financial support in the past from Planned Parenthood...

In my opinion, what makes this the best ad is that is "celebrates life", and appeals to people's hearts.

A Landrieu supporter, in my opinion, would be discouraged from going to the polls on December 6th and voting for her if they see this ad.

That is - if the voter has a heart and realize that this baby was born at the end of the 2nd trimester and beginning of the 3rd trimester...

Someone posted a link to the ad.

Please share with anyone in Louisiana who might consider voting for Mary Landrieu.

My opinion is that if enough people see this ad, Mary Landrieu will be lucky to get 40% of the vote.

She may get trounced by more than a 60%-40% margin as it stands.
