It turns out you can give thanks for a lot of different folks on the Disney Channel website – but you can’t thank God.
I received a Facebook message on Sunday from Julie Anderson, of Angier, North Carolina......
Lilly loves the Disney Channel – and as she was browsing the channel’s website she noticed a question. The Disney Channel wanted to know what she was thankful for. So Lilly typed in her answer.
“God, my family, my church and my friends,” the 10-year-old wrote.
Lilly pressed the return key and waited for her answer to appear on the website. But her response did not appear. Instead, a message written in red popped up on the screen.
“Please be nice!” the message read.
Lilly tried again and again with no luck – so she told her parents.
“It was Lilly’s idea alone to include God in her post,” Julie told me. “As a matter of fact she was in another room from me and she came and got me when it wouldn’t allow her to post.”

I won’t knowingly spend money on a Disney movie......I have a hard time separating my politics from everything else!!

Walt must be spinning in his grave at the moral decline of his beloved brand.
Maybe the programmatic filter thought it was being used as an expletive. Too many people do use his name that way.
I once tried to place an ad to sell a motorcycle with a local newspaper. The ad was rejected as hateful. Apparently it was the term “sissy bar” that the paper didn’t like. I replaced it with “backrest” and the ad was accepted. LOL!
Likely Disney thinks the word “God” is hateful.
The world has gone mad.

Gay Days at their theme parks, PG & PG-13 movies, and scatological “humor” in their animated features. Uncle Walt would fire the lot.
We received the Disney Channel free for a weekend as a promotion about 20 years ago. After watching some of it’s content, we didn’t sign up for it.
Should’a tried using “Allah” instead...
Disney claims that is precisely what happened. I saw the interview this morning, and Fox also read Disney’s response to the complaint. Unfortunately, God is used along with profanity and it was censored because of that. Frankly, I thought Fox jumped the shark with this interview.
Not shocking considering who owns and runs Disney. Old Walt must be spinning. Try using the words Almighty One, or Creator for a workaround. I bet they won’t block the name allah.
Scriptures are read in the Disney show verbatim from the English Standard Version of the Bible. Luke 1:26-31, Luke 2:1-18, Matthew 2:1-2, 10, Matthew 2:9, 11 and Isaiah 9:6 are all read aloud.

I am a BIG fan of God, Creator of the universe. However, in this case, just suppose, could it be that Disney uses a program that picks up on swear words? Some pagans and supposed Christians alike use the word ‘god’ to swear. Before we jump on the bandwagon, Disney needs to respond and change their software if that is the case. Nevertheless, it is disturbing that a young girl got that response because she has no idea why they would tell her to be nice.
From the house of mouse to the house of Rat. The DNC tried to kick ‘God’ out of their convention too. DemonRats all.
Disney is no better than all the other entertainment/news media. It is part of the establishment, which seeks to eliminate all trace of Christianity from American life.

While I too am very eager to jump on the “Disney Sucks” bandwagon; lets use a little common sense here.
This is post-Disney Disney. Not the Disney you and I remember.
Those days are gone.
