Here is ‘Senator Jeff Sessions’ definitive statement on the Boehner sell-out today:

“The Chairman of the Republican Party made a promise to America on executive amnesty:... ‘We can’t allow it to happen and we won’t let it happen… everything we can do to stop it we will.’

Unfortunately, the plan now being circulated in the House fails to meet that test. The executive amnesty language is substantially weaker than the language the House adopted this summer, and does not reject the central tenets of the President’s plan: work permits, Social Security, and Medicare to 5 million illegal immigrants—reducing wages, jobs, and benefits for Americans.

Congress considered and rejected these changes to immigration law in 2006, 2007, 2010, 2013, and 2014. The President’s action erases the laws Congress has passed in order to implement laws Congress has refused to pass.

Now the President demands Congress fund his imperial decree and declare its own irrelevance.

That is why Congress must respond to the President’s unlawful action by funding the government but not funding illegal amnesty. This is a perfectly sound and routine application of congressional authority. In fact, the nonpartisan Congressional Research Service reports that last year’s omnibus spending bill included 16 such funding restrictions on fee-based programs.

Such a plan would put the focus where it belongs: on Senate Democrats. They are the ones who should be made to choose sides—save Obama’s amnesty or save Americans’ jobs and borders.

Polling shows voters believe that Americans should get preference for available jobs by almost a 10-1 margin. Republicans should not be timid or apologetic, but mount a bold defense of struggling Americans.

Billions of dollars and countless hours have been spent advocating immigration policies that help everyone but the actual citizens of this country. Who will be their voice, if not us?”

...Obama will just front load expenses prior to March....

Oh he’s already started....

Announced Monday President Obama will sign an executive order pledging $263 million to go toward additional police training and body cameras....Ferguson bound as well....

But it’s this little bit.....he could easily shave from and others over before march....

The program development will be head by “Task Force on 21st Century Policing”,.... “an ACTIVIST GROUP consisting of community leaders ‘appointed by President Obama’.”...... In the next three months, the team will propose solutions on “how to promote effective crime reduction while building public trus

You said no ‘protected programs’. You’re crazy if you’re thinking about shutting down the defense department, homeland security, FBI, IRS, federal court system, and the air traffic control system. You do that and you’d lose the shutdown battle in less than 12 hours.

Walk out of congress en masse and tell Americans to refuse tyranny. Along with any democrats who are willing to save America.

That would be a good start. Force this man to resign, then try him for high treason. All of these sons of bitches, and the islamic nutbag whispering in his ear.

I propose a mass cleansing of the corrupt. Destroy them politically, and send them to prison. Or let the unwilling American public get the train back on track. Accept no quarter, no compromise, and punish the injustice done on our nation using the constitution.

Do you honestly believe that any of those things are possible?

With all due respect, what makes you think that Obama would actually “shut down” the government, if the House doesn’t pass a short-term spending bill?

Wouldn’t Obama simply use his illegal “executive authority” to exert control over ALL government spending? And wouldn’t he then blame HIS cynical power grab on “the Tea Party”.

Obama said he really, really wanted to run against Romney in 2012. Now, we know why.

Obama has also said he really, really wants conservatives to try to “shut down” the government. I won’t be joining that little goose-stepping parade...

No, this is a bad idea: Why hamper the next congress with Govt. Revenue until next September. Why not just PASS A SHORT TERM CR, then fight it out next year with an enlarged majority??

Maybe a good political plan but what’s the plan when Obama vetos the omnibus?

I am guessing that the plan is to allow President Obama to take the heat for the consequences of this action...

The CR needs to only extend as far as the new senate republicans are seated and have input. Remember, the Dems lose control of the senate when the new Republicans are seated in January. Why put up a spending bill for *ANYTHING* beyond early spring?

Bad plan. The serial-capitulation-crew (GOP) is going to allow the senate Dems to meddle with the vast majority of Govt Spending clear through to Sept. Why give the dems any input on spending over the first 9 months of the new GOP controlled senate? Why not just allow them input until the senate majority control changes hands?

SPINELESS GOP IDIOTS!! I will do what I can to help them fight, but they have to show willingness to fight too. It is WAAAAY passed time to start playing hardball. These weak-kneed bastards are "throwing in the towel(s)" BEFORE THEY EVEN GET STARTED!! And we are expected to support them?! Seriously?!

The GOP needs to go or be gutted and refurbished from top to bottom. How do we do that?

What I don’t understand is why the republicans keep accepting blame for any government shutdown.
