I watched/listened to the video 5x, and from what I could gather, the officer’s chokehold probably compressed his trachea, helped him begin to black-out, combined with asthma and breathing problems, his own ~400lb weight and possibly someone kneeling on his back, did him in.

Rear Sidewalk Removal & Re-Installation, Nov 5 - Nov 14:
Original concrete sidewalk and flagstone path to 2 back-of-house porches.
Kitchen porch's sunken (11") concrete bottom step needed removal and replacing.
All concrete removed and disposed on-site, thanks to 2 helpers from last fall's front sidewalk project, and rented Bobcat.
Construction materials and rented machinery "magically" arrived.
4" sub-base (1" tan stone) and 2" base (crushed bluestone) was installed.
Vibratory compactor plate (and helper) compacted sub-base and base layers.
Hanover Paver® Appian Way® Tumbled paver blockpaver block was installed, at sun porch steps' far end of sidewalk.
Due to straight pattern and no curves, very few block cuts were required, but a stone saw had to be rented for the 30-40 needed cuts, as opposed to last fall's windy, twisty front sidewalk project, where many hundreds of cuts were required.
Concrete/stone dust mix was used against outside rows of block, instead of PVC edging, to hold outside rows of block in place when Pocono Stone cover was pulled back into position on side edges.
Main back porch step is raised, installed with special Loc-tite® and cement mixture.
Because sidewalk at porch was raised an additional 6", top stone steps of staircase down to yard, at left, had to be increased and rebuilt to match.
Finally, all cracks between blocks are filled with polymeric sand, wetted and left to set-up in place.
The clean-up by 2 helpers went quickly.
