Is Gowdy against amnesty, or just against Zero imposing amnesty by executive fiat?
In some ways I like Gowdy better than Cruz in his ability to cut to the heart of the matter. I would vote for him as President in a heartbeat.
When the whole Rubio/McConnell crowd was talking about the components needed to enact some type of immigration reform after border tightening, Gowdy came out with a statement about children of immigrants and what a fair law system should do to adapt to children as something other than law breaking illegal aliens. I watched his statements at the time. It was solidly pro-law and equal justice.
For daring to touch the conservative third rail of any part of this reform he was lambasted by some as a RINO. If Reagan was reincarnated with a new name, he would make a statement like Gowdy and be lambasted by some as well.
We are dealing with a political world and not divine theology in heaven — some here will never accept that.

Unlike Cruz, Gowdy’s views on Amnesty are suspect. I don’t know enough to comment, but..
Enough to comment, or investigate, is what I am sharing in my previous post.
I don’t consider these guys trained dogs that spout the exact liturgy of conservatism. I want them fiery and thinking and Gowdy is damn smart and full of fire.
