Not long now, and we'll know the over/under on Mary's vote.

If the betting line were 40% , I think most of the money would be put on under.

"The MSM will call her loss “unexpected”. lol"

No, even better, the MSM will claim that the "OLD Racist SOUTH" full of ever aging white men are giving her the "racist, sexist" boot.

You know, because they just can't stand "progress"

Following a story on the rise of right wing groups that "may or may not" be part of a "possible increase in KKK activity".

None has been actually documented or confirmed, YET. But the Times-Picayune will be on this important story in the event that it may or may not happen.

Same here. I think anything over 40 will be considered a moral victory for the dims.

Mitch wants to placate the RATS because he is already anticipating the time that he will be in the minority party again.

We may be heading into another short-lived age-of-reason. It seems that the ugly is not only showing through for the Leftists, it is also being observed and perceived among many of its life-long supporters.

Who knows - there's supposed to be some good times before the final declines that lead up to His return.

Right now I don’t see any great political warriors in the ranks who can lead the party toward great victories. Current GOP “leadership” is just not up to the fight. Things are so bad that we need the political equivalent of a Patton to retake lost ground.

For sure - emotions are running rampant and trumping logic in a big way - even on FR from time to time. The Left uses and manipulates emotions to solidify support from those they oppress - they are the equivalent of a crack dealer that gets people hooked, and when the drug ruins lives, the dealer comes back in and tells them the solution is more crack. The Right sees through most of this type thing, but the emotions tend to prevent any sort of wide-spread unified movement to actively pare away at the Left power base - we get a few anomalies like the last election then promptly throw it away for a decade or so - mostly due to cockiness and the illusion that we can now wait for our heroes to come in and save us w/o our active attempts to keep weeding out the Left as a first priority and cleaning out our wishy-washy ranks as the next priority.

After an election like the last one, I really think that many Republican legislators go on cruise control and just enjoy the next couple of years making as few waves as possible. The icing on the cake for them is they can cut a few deals (often referred to as “compromises”) with Dems and keep the media off their backs. All they really want to do is coast, and of course that usually means going downhill.

The Republican base doesn’t seem to mind this cyclical charade. So nothing ever changes.

On occasion we get to see some Dems removed from office (e.g., Harry Reid) but that’s about all the satisfaction we get.
