“If the police “overreacted” they should be called to account.”
But that isn’t what is happening. Anyone who actually believes cops are being held accountable is deluded as a lib. Cops are heavily shielded against their poor choices and even crimes, and it is making them more bold. They are not afraid of mistakes, even ones resulting in innocent death.

“However, if the criminal class would stop being criminals, their run-ins with the cops would be minimal.”
First, that is a separate issue from police excesses. Criminal behavior and police behavior are separate issues. You’re mixing issues to cloud the issue of how cops are behaving.
Second, a LOT of innocent people are having run ins with cops.

I despise criminals be they thugs or white collar a-holes. All criminals should suffer...all.”
Good. Now lets apply that to cops too. Quit coddling them as much as libs coddle criminals. That cop who shot a guy in a stairwell? Unreasonable fear. Second degree murder, and deal with him as such. Or is he protected from your harsh judgment of criminals?
That cop who slapped a guy for refusing a voluntary search? Hammer him too. Don’t let him resign. Fire him, and then charge him as hard as one would be for slapping a cop. His two other officers who watched and performed a 4th Amendment violation? Aiding and abetting a crime. Or are they exempt too?
The cops in the Dorner hunt who shot at three innocent people for no reason? Attempted murder for all of them. Or are they exempt?

Will this new harsh handling of criminals only apply to the peasant classes, or shall we finally treat criminal and reckless cops as they deserve and stop protecting them and encouraging their excesses? Shall we stop protecting them from civil suits as well? Cops don’t care about lawsuits, because they don’t pay. Lawsuits won’t teach them crap until it is their money.

And you suppose that the local police departments are currently more loyal to their local employers as opposed to the federal government, which bestows upon them (stolen) taxpayer dollars and military equipment.

I’d give good thought as to whether your local police force would side with conservatives against the State-—under threat of having their toys and their “allowance” taken away if they fail to comply with The State.

Better to think about it now than to find out the hard way later.

“””Legally whenever two individuals are fighting for possesion of a weapon, BOTH are deemed to be in possesion of that weapon.””””

Except Brown wasn’t “fighting” for the weapon when he was shot. He had left the vicinity of the cruiser. I’m not saying Wilson was wrong - but to claim Brown was armed is fallacious.

“”One more time a death could have been avoided had the black man not resisted arrest. When a cop says stop, stop, and do what they tell you, being polite while you do it. If they are wrong, or violating your rights, sue them later.”””

Yeah, because spending time in jail is a meal ticket, right? I almost hope it happens to you so we can hear all about how your lawyer was the one guy who made things right.

Did Brown ever have possession of the pistol?

I was on my own at fifteen, so been there, done that, more than once, and without a lawyer. Jail is preferable to death, and idiots who resist arrest are only making things worse. Hope away punk.

If Brown was not worm food, would he not be charged with attempted murder? I think so. There was a fight for the gun. Thank God Brown lost.

“I’d talk him down. What is the WORST case scenario? He takes off running? “

The worst case is, of course, the thug career criminal or one of good homies pop a cap in da pig’s ass, knowhwaamin?
