I believe Sun Tzu said, “know your enemy,” in order to defeat them, not empathize with them so we can all get along.

We always tried to see things from the enemy’s perspective, especially when we were laying out our FPF. Good leaders always do.

I thought Barry Obama had already assigned the National Aeronautics and Space Administration to do this six years ago.

Empathize With Our Enemies
Females are especially susceptible to the "Stockholm Syndrome".
It is (in the extreme), when an enemy is so overwhelming that you have only 2 options:: self termination-kamikaze or becoming part of Them-absolute willingly.
Often it shows in a milder form.
Either way, it is considered emotional weakness.

This is the direction I saw this country going if McGovern became President. I was only 17 at the time and even then I saw it as disastrous.

She’d likely have said the same after Perl Harbor.

Can you imagine what would have happened if instead of saying, "I have nothing to offer but blood, toil, tears, and sweat," Winston Churchill had said, "We must empathize with Adolph Hitler"?

Showing respect even for one's enemies. Trying to understand, in so far as psychologically possible, empathize with their perspective and point of view.
To: Kaslin
I already do see things from my enemie’s perspective.
They want to chop my head off.
I’m still working on the empathize bit.

“America as we knew it is gone.”
Tragically, that is true. However, I firmly believe we can bring her back; though the longer we wait, the more difficult it will be.

Hillary is a shrewd woman and knows what she is saying. The lie of moral relativism is a denial of the existence of good and evil. Her ideas aren’t new at all. Furthermore, she knows what she is saying is BS. It is psychological manipulation that conditions people to think that any governmental action is righteous if it is couched as a greater good for society. Basically it is a way to condition people to accept evil.
One of my favorite quotes is from C.S Lewis. There is no neutral ground in the universe. Every minute and every split second is claimed by God and counterclaimed by Satan.

Trying to understand, in so far as psychologically possible, empathize with their perspective and point of view. Unwittingly Hillary reveals a major issue in her blighted existence-- she finds it "psychologically impossible" to empathize with a perspective different from her own. She really ought to drop out of politics, stop abusing the republic, and go talk to someone.
To: Kaslin
I’d worry about this if I didn’t think that she’s just a lying thief.

Let us empathize with Juanita Broadrick, Vince Foster, the Benghazi casualties, and the other victims of her political ambition.
