I saw an apartment building under construction, and thought the same thing. A huge pile of wood just waiting for a spark.
I thought construction of larger buildings (over 4 stories) was now structural steel, metal studs and light weight concrete. I guess not.

I agree with your rant -which isn’t a rant but logic and clarity. Only in today’s PC world would speaking the truth seem out of place -even to the speaker. So keep it up!

That is, hell to pay to Algore and Climate 10-Alarm-ists (or whatever number of Alarms this fire is).
Would that knowledge be available to the public? If not, sounds like maybe terrorism or a state like Russia. The Communist party supports Putin 100 percent, and there’s no reason to think the FSB ended their control of them.

I half-expected some here to attack me for commenting on the conservative split, which exists in multiple forms here at FR in particular.
Half of the time that I ‘write my mind’ I end up gettting abuse because my opinion differs from another’s (or ‘the clique/cabal’). I don’t mind a logical argument and will admit when I’m in left field, so-to-speak, but getting called names for disagreeing with the status quo is so ‘Alinsky-ish’, ya know? Last week I was ‘traitor’ and ‘treasonous’, among others. And I’m as blue as blue can be (I don’t agree with ABC/MSM changing the color scheme in 1979(?) and will never accede to that).

They couldn’t handle having commie red be their color. Too close to the truth.
I expect more from ‘conservatives ‘ than to call names. Like you said, that is a lefty tactic. Separate and demoralize the offender. Although I think most times in this dumbed down society, it is done when they can’t articulate an intelligent argument.

I guess keeping the costs down was one of the reasons the upper 6 floors were flammable wood frame construction.
