There is a fine line between genius and a moron. This jerk is neither. He is an who thinks his fancy attorney credentials will allow him to bully a small business just to stroke his ego. His emails read like a sophomore pre-law student who thinks the 6 textbooks he's touched made him into Perry Mason. The prick even thinks he is doing everyone else a favor by "fighting the good fight." It would be nice if every restaurant in Boston refused to serve him.
To: RightOnTheBorder
I hope the Chines restaurant refuses to ever serve him again.
What is to say that if he loses this battle that he doesn’t go seeking another?
To: Hojczyk
Sorry, being college-educated does not give you an entitled attitude.

This Harvard professor is a more charming version of Barack Obama. He disgusts me, and I hope he has trouble getting takeout food and all other services in the future.

To be fair, “mom and pop” or not, false advertising is false advertising. Not having the budget to update the website is no excuse. The prof might be an ass, but you can’t falsely advertise, intentionally or not.

The restaurant's
website is down, probably due to a surge in traffic caused by this story.
Meanwhile, its reviews on Yelp are quite amusing.

Perhaps this will end up costing the jerk $40,000 or even $400,000 as customers like Microsoft, NFL, and NYT run for hills.

The restaurant owner admits that he has been deliberately and knowingly charging online customers one dollar more than the advertised price for each and every item, "for quite some time." That is theft and fraud, and it is illegal.
