The CIA's rebuttal to the Feinstein report
CIA ^ | 27 June 2013 | CIA

Just thought if anyone wants a good skewering of the recent senate report heres the CIA's 135 page response released a few days ago.

1. I appreciate the opportunity for the Central Intelligence Agency to comment on the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence Study of the Agency's long-terminated Rendition, Detention, and Interrogation Program (hereafter referred to as the "Study"). As I noted during my confirmation hearing and in subsequent discussions with you and with Committee members, the lengthy Study deserved careful review by the Agency in light of the significance and sensitivity of the subject matter and; of particular concern; the serious charges made. in the Study about the Agency's performance and record.

2. As you know, one of the President's first acts in office more than four years ago was to sign Executive Order 13491, which brought to an end the program that is the subject of the Committee's work. In particular the President directed that the CIA no longer operate detention facilities and banned the use of all interrogation techniques not in the Army Field Manual. Thus I before getting into the substance of the CIA's review of the Study, I want to reaffirm what I said during my confirmation hearing: I agree with the President's decision, and, while I am the Director of the CIA, this program will not under any circumstances be reinitiated. I personally remain firm in my belief that enhanced interrogation techniques are not an appropriate method to obtain intelligence and that their use impairs our ability to continue to play a leadership role in the world.

The CIA needs to just be quiet and start quietly releasing the damaging information they have on Feinstein and her husband.

I watch BBC news on PBS and yesterday they had the former director of the CIA there and Katy Kay tried to get him on the report and basically he flat shut her up. She’d come out with items in the report and got them thrown right back at her. It was beautiful to watch. This evening they had a lame brain from the NYT as a “rebuttal” and be blew it as well ...

Looks like they found an old Olivetti typewriter to type the report up. Still, good find!

I think I also read and this is important, that out of 1100 prisoners, only 39 prisoners ever went through these “enhanced interrogation” procedures, don’t quote me, one can look it up for themselves but 39 is an awfully low number when this report is first thrown into our faces.

Page 79 of the report, that “Rectal Rehydration” was used only for medical reasons the CIA claims. Good to read this stuff. That sounded bad but who knows if the truth will get out there.

I have a question involving NATIONAL security.

The CIA report indicates that it was declassified and approved for release on 08 December 2014. Who made this decision? Do we have a security breach? Do we need an investigation?

I hope the CIA spills the beans on this biatch. As long as she’s been a politician, there has to be a bunch of skeletons out there.

This little circus featuring a clown car full of Rat politicians smells like a preemptive strike on the CIA which is just about to blow the lid off of Democrat stonewalling of Benghazi and (pick your scandals) once the GOP takes control of the Senate.
