The recent executive order allowing 5 million immigrants to stay in the United States is now producing yet another undesired result.
At least for hardworking Americans it’s undesired.
Unfortunately it’s a huge blessing to these immigrants, one that Obama likely planned for when he pushed the ACA through congress.
So what is this blessing?
A $3,000 incentive for employers to hire illegals.
As most people know, Obamacare requires any business who hires an employe who works for them full time, to provide their employees with health insurance.
The financial burden on businsses has been monumental, and has forced many small business owners to either cut their employees hours, or go out of business altogether.
But now, through a “glitch” in Obamacare, they can hire illegals and get full time work from them without the need to offer them healthcare.
The loophole found in Obamacare traces back to rules under the Affordable Care Act, which rewards businesses for hiring the 5 million illegals. This is because by doing so, they do not have to pay a penalty for not providing them with health coverage — a penalty they would have to pay with native-born workers, making the American citizens less profitable to hire.
It was corroborated by a security official from the Department of Homeland Security that the loophole does indeed exist for employers seeking to skirt the penalty enforced for not insuring their employees — saving them $3,000 a piece for hiring Obama’s 5 million amnestied once-illegal immigrants.
This essentially penalizes Americans who want to work, and will force many to cobble together a few part-time jobs so they might be able to afford healthcare.
Adding insult to injury is the unfair treatment illegals receive in hospitals and clinics.
Since hospitals aren’t allowed to refuse service, illegals are able to get FREE medical treatment whenever they enter.
And since they’re not actively filing tax returns, they’ll never have to pay the penalty for remaining uninsured.
Plenty of corrupt businesses will take advantage of this loophole.
It actively incentivizes businesses to hire illegals as employers will save $3,000 by not having to pay their healthcare costs.
Rep. Lamar Smith (R-Texas) lamented this is nowhere close to being acceptable.
He said, “If it is true that the President’s actions give employers a $3,000 incentive to hire those who came here illegally, he has added insult to injury…The President’s actions would have just moved those who came here illegally to the front of the line, ahead of unemployed and underemployed Americans.”
But that’s exactly what Obama did.
This loophole was pointed out over a year ago, before his executive order allowing amnesty was put into place by the President.
It never did receive redress, and now the President’s willful deceit is going to shift a financial burden onto the backs of hard working Americans.
Unless Republicans manage to repeal Obamacare the effects of this legislation will have catastrophic financial ramifications.

Pass a bill that applies all the mandates on illegals without any of the subsidies. Lets see Dems oppose that,
I personally know 5 people currently doing this. Working as servers in restaurants, retail sales, in the kitchens of 2nd restaurants...
Not only do they have to do this to pay for mandated healthcare, I have no-doubt the feds are counting them as about 10 or 12 "employed" people 'cause they see all those jobs filled.
The fix could be to deny any hospital or doctor healthcare to illegals who can’t pay for it.
