You Sir, are woefully under educated.
Perhaps you should research before you run your mouth.
Or just maybe go talk to the Delta commander from Afghanistan, he can fill you in.

I was 2PPCLI for a long time. We have plenty of warriors. You’re obviously not from out west. Perhaps in the limp wristed east that might be true. Before you run off at the mouth though, you should read up on our actions in Afghanistan. That should be recent enough for you.

Yup. And an army and an air force too. We were fighting the Germans for years while you Americans were still snug in your beds.
Your comment was hilarious and full of insight.

horse crap..you are defending yourself, we just happen to live next door

Your navy consists of 8,500 regular personnel. That’s not a navy, that’s a joke. Your entire navy could fully crew about two USS Ronald Reagans.

8,500 personnel is not enough to staff 2 carriers, plus half of them would be working on shore as support

"we just happen to live next door"And actively take full advantage of that fact. If you didn't have us right here protecting you, you'd be sunk.

Right now. In fact, Canada is in command of Combined Task Force 150 in the Middle East.

Counting their reserves, which are about 5000. They'd still be hard pressed though.
Probably more like 1.3 Ronald Reagans.

“on a per capita basis, no country in the last 100 years has shed more sweet patriot blood in the defense of freedom than Canada”
Ummm, as far as Canada’s largest ware contribution goes, WWII, it’s not even close. In fact Australia, New Zealand and Great Britain all sacrificed more on a per capita basis. Did I forget to mention Singapore?

As posts 20 and 52 tell you, there is a tiny number of brave patriots in Canada, and they make up a tiny military, that has brave and good soldiers in it, but you can’t change what the nation is, nor how tiny the military is, and how and why Canada can gets away with such a large part of the world to protect and defend, with so few Canadians serving.

Few know that all three branches of the Canadian Military , air , sea and ground have only 100,000 standing , full time members. This is a nation of some 23 million peple. The numbers are actually 68,000 active in a nation of 35 million.
Texas produced 16,000 active duty in 2004 alone, Canada had 28,000 enlistments from 2003 to 2008.
