I think food will be the driving issue in the next Pres election. These “newly minted” children getting to vote for the first time at 18 will remember the food the D’s provided them in public schools. Yes, it was the Mrs ramming this limited calorie slop down their throats, but they will remember who served them this “health” food, the Obama’s, the democrats.
I agree. It will leave a very personal mark on their thinking.

There's still some white working class people in the democrat party... union guys... AND some dependent white women who live in marginal neighborhoods and need government assistance.
