Here is what the Bible says about bishops:

“A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober of good behavior, given to hospitality, apt to teach.”

1 Timothy 3:2

As long as she can get divorced, he’s OK with it.

Not blaming women at all for this, but there is a reason the beautiful churches located throughout the U.K. are so empty that not even quantum fluctuations occur within.

That reason is the Church of England.

If nothing else, here’s why the Founding Fathers told George III to take a hike and wrote the First Amendment to the US Constitution.

HAH!

Hey Stephenjohn, good to see you again.

The more foolish of the RC's are getting a contact high off of it, but no-o-o-o it ain't happenin' on the other side of the TRiber--- Some elderly clerical creep (maybe it was Kasper) said, wistfully, "(Sigh) Not in my lifetime".

And God said, "Not in MY lifetime."

For your enjoyment (this is an honest-to-google hoot):

Here it is ORDAIN A LADY--

The oggle-boggling thing is, they are so oblivious they evidently didn't realize they were doing a self-parody. They did take down the comments, though. It may have shown some viewers having way, way too much fun with it.

I don’t think he was responsible for druids becoming the priesthood. He’s been too long dead to be the head of the C of E either way.

If the Queen is the Head of The CofE, does this policy not require her approval?

The British sovereign, for centuries, has been fitted with special puppet strings before their coronation, so their mouth speaks whatever words their handlers desire.

It’s more than just the church. Society has been warped and distorted by the Labour Party way of thinking in general. The state church changed to reflect the government and what it has done to that society, when it was supposed to be a bulwark against such a thing.

BTW, the C of E has been through being led by a druid, so it ought not be surprising that the appearance of the female ”episkopos” be witch-like.

Apparently no one checked this move with the Archbishop of Lagos.

Because we don’t have a state church. You know just how bad our lib-progs could have screwed that up.
