Bombshell: Army withheld evidence that could free Clint Lorance (Allen West)

We first wrote about the case of U.S. Army 1LT Clint Lorance of Texas last year. His was what I termed a seriously gross miscarriage of justice. Those of us who have been stationed in Afghanistan know the tactics and actions of the enemy.

Any time two or more individuals are on a motorcycle approaching your convoy or position you can bet — if unarmed — they are scouts. And if they are scouts for a main attack, they are just as dangerous a threat.

Herein lies the problem of our methods of prosecuting combat operations — not overseas contingency operations. On the modern battlefield, the enemy doesn’t wear a uniform and they exploit our ridiculous rules of engagement — all to the detriment of our men and women deployed into these combat zones.

So 1LT Lorance understood this combat environment and the enemy tactics. He was not patrolling in some quiet zone — this was a hot bed of enemy activity, and the reason why he was there was because the previous platoon leader had been severely wounded...

Free First Lieutenant Clint Lorance, 1st Platoon, C Troop, 4-73 Cavalry, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division

70 years ago, the 82nd Airborne was fighting another enemy in the bitter woods of the Ardennes. Now, apparently, the enemy is our government...

http://about.me/clintlorancearmy

An Infantry Officer in the US Army’s 82nd Airborne Division, Clint Lorance currently holds the rank of Lieutenant. Since 2003, Lorance has served the United States Army as a Paratrooper within the Airborne community. In this role, he oversees training programs that prepare Army Paratroopers to perform combat duties in deployments around the world. Clint Lorance himself has been stationed far from his Texas hometown: between 2003 and 2005, he served in Korea. In addition to his role coordinating training, Lorance served for seven years as a Military Police Staff Sergeant.

Following several years on active duty in the Army, Clint Lorance enrolled at the University of North Texas. In 2010, two years after beginning his studies, he earned a Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences in Public Affairs and Community Service. Considering this field of study, it is perhaps no wonder that Lorance devoted time during his college years to the American Red Cross’s Disaster Action Team.

In addition to pursuing his academic degree and related volunteer work while at North Texas, Clint Lorance joined the Phi Alpha Delta Pre-Law Fraternity and maintained an active presence with the Army, holding the position of Reserve Officers’ Training Corps Cadet Battalion Commander. This leadership role aligns with work he did while enrolled at Bland High School in Merit Texas. As a high school student, Lorance maintained membership on the Chapter Leadership Conducting Team, the Dairy Judging Team, and the Soil Judging Team.

Clint Lorance’s accolades during his military career include being named 8th US Army Non-Commissioned Officer of the Year, Non-Commissioned Officer of the Quarter, and a Sergeant Audie Murphy Candidate, among others. In his leisure time, Lorance enjoys running and lifting weights. He has completed the Bataan Memorial Death March marathon as well as a number of other races.

This young officer should absolutely be released and all charges against him dropped. In fact, he should be decorated for taking decisive combat action for not only saving his platoon, but any other friendly units in the vicinity. The people he had taken out were Taliban scouts, gathering intel on our forces.

So we live in a world where U.S. Army 1LT Clint Lorance is in jail for 20 years for protecting his troops from probable enemy combatants and but a loser like Bowe Bergdahl is at the very least guilty of battlefield desertion and probably of treason and aiding terrorist and he gets freedom, a promotion and $300,000 in back pay.

We live in a world where our “President” frees murderous spies for no good reason.

Let’s insist that our next President be raised in this country so he’ll have at least a nodding acquaintance with our traditions, mores, and history.

It's getting tiresome. I'm going to be on the horn to my representative & my senators.

Apparently, the President also sees fit to release 8 drug dealers while an honorable military officer sits in prison for making a judgement call that was correct and which the exonerating evidence was suppressed.

It's too bad this Lieutenant Lorance doesn't have a REAL Commander-In-Chief.

He's got this Sunni piece of crap instead...

In Obola's defense, the young lieutenant DID kill some of Obola's fellow Muslims. So you can see where Hussein would want some "payback"...

Or, as Bishop Amalric is reputed to have said, under ironically similar circumstances, (i.e., dealing with muzzies...) at Beziers:

"Caedite eos. Novit enim Dominus qui sunt eius."

Leading to the modern expression "Kill 'em all..."

Bump this. The only thing they've done so far is reduced the sentence to 19 years instead of 20.

Here's the radio interview of his attorney, mother, and Col west. Sean had the information on his radio show again today. 1/09/2015. This is a purposeful miscarriage of justice.

This is a purposeful miscarriage of justice.

Our government at all levels has been engaging in direct attacks on law-abiding citizens.

Our former British government engaged in the same behavior before the Revolution.
