The Islamic State extremist group has executed 100 of its own foreign fighters who tried to flee their headquarters in the Syrian city of Raqqa, the Financial Times newspaper said Saturday. An activist opposed to both IS and the regime of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, who is well-known to the British business broadsheet, said he had "verified 100 executions" of foreign IS fighters trying to leave the jihadist group's de facto capital.

Amongst other daily atrocities like killing a hundred women who would not succumb to their sick religion or being raped, not to mention the recent murder of children. I'm becoming more befuddled by the day as to why so many in the world consciously decide to be monsters.

What can cause human beings to lose or deny their inherent traits of compassion, empathy, and sympathy? I know the Palestians teach their children to hate (see the movie, "Children of Gaza), but what/where did ISIS originate from? Al-queda? Taliban? Their own Clerics or are they an outgrowth of the above?

I would have no problem with the whole of Islam being exterminated. At the very least, it is a misogynistic intolerant totalitarian system that is incompatible with people of free will, fairness, and liberty.

Since a US-led coalition began a campaign of air strikes against IS in August, the extremist group has lost ground to local forces and seen the number of its fighters killed rise significantly.

I disagree with your first sentence and agree with your second. Islam is a cult. Any religion that treats their women as chattle should be erased from the planet.

Where the f*ck is the National Organization for Women (NOW)??? They occasionally still whine and complain about the awful treatment women get in our society (BS), but why don't they speak out against the horrendous atrocities committed on women almost every day by Islamist males? They have become irrelevant...so answered my own question.
