second slay attempt on NYPD officers was narrowly avoided early Sunday when a gunman’s weapon jammed as he took aim at two cops outside a Bronx housing project, sources said. Investigators grabbed the wannabe cop killer after he dropped his gun and ran into the Millbrook Houses on Saint Anns Ave. in Port Morris, sources said.

This appears to be a NYC Nightmare for Police and the Police Commissioner.

The SECOND ATTEMPT TO MURDER POLICE IS THWARTED and the 'wanna be cop killer' is arrested, but what about the THIRD OR FOURTH ATTEMPT??

HOW DOES THE NYPD KEEP THEIR OFFICERS SAFE, NOW THAT AL SHARPTON AND THE PROTESTORS HAVE DECIDED TO CARRY OUT THEIR CHANTS FROM A FEW DAYS AGO..."What do we want?" "DEAD COPS"! When do we want them? 'NOW!"

THERE NEEDS TO BE SOME ARRESTS OF PROTESTOR AGITATORS, AND OFFICIALS, WHO HAVE CREATED THIS HOSTILE ATMOSPHERE FOR COPS IN NYC!

this could be our city, our town, and our neighborhood! We need to have our voices heard on this 'GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS ATTITUDE' that promotes this violence!

CALLING our Congressman and asking for them to do their elected job and address this evil now, before this killing spreads to other cities and states.

LET'S STOP IT BEFORE IT SPREADS.

CONTACTING MAYOR de Blasio's office and demanding his resignation now, because he helped create this mess. Mayor de Blasio will never be able to supervise the NYPD since he has lost their respect.

Yesterday Police Officers turned their backs on him, which shows his power to supervise is gone....de Blasio needs to be gone too! He is NOT effective in NYC.

PLEASE Pray for our police, state troopers, and others in the line of fire every day, while on the streets and highways.

We can only hope, as he looked around at the news conference, he looked like “I don’t want to be here”...sad.

Yeah, you are right, this is a complete disaster. The first guy was crazy and had already shot his girlfriend down in MD. (I still haven’t seen if he killed her or if she survived.)

But this second one is bad, bad, bad.

DeBlasio is a mess, and this goes to show what happens when people don’t vote, because he got elected by a very small amount of eligible voters. Not saying he wouldn’t have won anyway, but he’s got NO KIND of a mandate.

Time to use Sharpton as a human shield for NYPD.

De Blasio should most definitely resign. But he won’t.

I honestly don’t know what’s going to happen in NYC, because as you point out, this is probably just the beginning of open attacks on the cops. They won’t be happy until it turns into a larger version of Haiti or some African hell-hole, that is, lawless and governed by thugs.

"Averted"? More like serendipity. Attempted and FAILED.

I'm not jumping on the "CWII is starting" bandwagon, at least not yet. I do wonder how many of the dysfunctional entitlement rejects are hyped up enough to play copy cat in the next week or so.

If this keeps up it will be open season on blacks. A flat out shooting war.

But then, this is NY. Arcane and abusive firearms laws have ensured that the cowards will have little resistance from the local populace.

deblasio and obola are both perverts and the sooner America wakes up to that fact the sooner we can begin to heal

Until then, we are stuck with their mire

How was this attack “averted.” The gun jammed. No one averted anything.

the nightmare is on the mayor.

He will be forced to step down in order to restore order, as he has zero credibility. Idiot already stated he feared for his son’s treatment by cops, so what cop would follow his orders?

The police helped create this mess too by displaying poor training, and nationwide too many mistakes and too much overreaching. Americans will not bow down to government authority, it has to be earned.

Yeah but follow the chain of responsibility:

NYC under DiBlasio (leftwing progressive) falls apart, call in the state resources.

Governor of NY? Andrew Cuomo, the leftwing cuckold who couldn’t handle a Kennedy woman. National Guard? No thanks. If NYPD aint able to take it on, NY’s state assets are nowhere near ready for what they’ll find in the City. So let’s flip it to the Feds.

Obama. Now exactly how effective do you think he’s going to be at restoring law and order and gaining the confidence of the cops.

How bad is it? The cops have already signed forms asking DiBlasio to stay away from their funerals (from the left wing NY Daily News:

http://www.nydailynews.com/new-york/hundreds-sign-police-funeral-form-oppose-blaz-article-1.2047898

“A police union official said the form has generated ‘hundreds of signatures’ from cops unhappy with the mayor. The form asks the mayor to stay away from funerals of officers killed in the line of duty. Patrolmen’s Benevolent Association chief Patrick Lynch posted the form online Friday to display anger at what police believe is a lack of support by de Blasio.”

I am no bootlicker or union-supporting frother, but it is time for a strike in NYC. Stay home for the holidays, guys.

Wonder if DeBlasio will look his NYPD security detail in the eye. Lucky for him they salute the uniform and not the man.

You are right, and we should demand it as a nation, because this is being promoted in every town, and city by Sharpton.
