I’m native Texan, but lived in OK for 7 years.

We ARE the same people. (note, I am not a sports fan and am totally immune to those rivalries)

Merry Christmas!

Kinduh wistful for Christmas in Tulsa and hanging out at Utica Square.

My Mom is doing great and that’s all that’s important.

Merry Christmas

Never ceases to amaze me when I am driving around Houston these days and I notice how many “foreign” license plates there are on the vehicles, at all times during the year, not just holidays....

And by “foreign” IO mean other states in our Union...;-)

I still get tickled about how many are coming from the highest taxed state, and for the record, I welcome them...

I guess I can somewhat give a pass to the ones that are stamped “D.F.” or “Nuevo Leon”... Only for a short stay...

Still working on my prejudices I suppose...

We will see how all this reflects in the voting trends of course over the next few election cycles though... You might be inclined to believe a shift in “liberal” leaning voting trends, and that has some merit...

But I think it’ll be balanced out by the folks moving here because they do so because of those tax sucking trends in their previous digs....
