Boehner is vulnerable to palace coup

Are you angry at House Speaker John Boehner for facilitating Barack Obama’s unlawful, unconstitutional amnesty and Obamacare plans after Republican voters gave him a mandate for opposing them?

Now there is a process for igniting a revolution against him within his caucus.

It’s called the Dump Boehner Campaign. Already, more than half a million letters have been generated to House Republicans putting them on notice that Boehner must go. When Congress reconvenes in early January, every House Republican member will be greeted by boxes of yellow letters demanding Boehner go.

Why yellow?

The letter begins: “Don’t be yellow: Dump Boehner now!”

This campaign is the first to empower grass-roots Republican voters whose votes were disenfranchised by leadership immediately after the November election.

It’s fast. It’s simple. It’s effective. It’s inexpensive. It’s transparent. It’s efficient.

Spread the word and send everyone you know to DumpBoehnerNow.com or DumpBoehnerCampaign.com.

If Obama’s effort to “fundamentally transform America” is to be stopped next year or the year after, it’s going to take a Republican Party that is motivated to oppose him. That simply cannot happen as long as John Boehner is speaker. He has betrayed his constituents too many times to ignore.

He’s a co-dependent with Obama. He’s a collaborator. He’s a facilitator. It doesn’t matter what his motivations are – blackmail, ignorance, political tin ear, ideology. He has to go if we have any chance of saving America – and, ironically, the Republican Party as a viable alternative to the Democratic madness.

These people have been ignoring the wishes of the majority for years, what makes you think they are going to act based upon letters, emails and phone calls now?

A bunch of thought he was vulnerable the last go-round. Turned out we were wrong and he retaliated by marginalizing some of the real conservatives.

Printed letters to Congressmen go to special postal facilities (run by the Pitney-Bowes Corporation) where they are opened and scanned into electronic formats. The original materials are destroyed.

If this is the case, how would I cut out the middle-man and get the electronic format item to them?
Or, I suppose, fax would work… if I could find a free e-mail[or PDF] to fax bridge that would let me do it.

Good, whatever it takes to get their attention, especially the crooks (excuse me corrupt).

Down here in Texas, all my representatives are very conservative except for Senator John Cornyn who goes RINO on me from time to time. He'll be hearing from me in the near future as to how he can improve his voting record on conservative issues.

His great opportunity to show us what he can do for the conservative side.

Has anyone else come to the following conclusion?

If I am going to be required to vote for a Democrat as a Republican, and that person will never win, why am I doing it?

It would seem wiser to re-register as a Democrat, and at least vote for the lesser of two evils there.

After all, the Lesser of Two Evils is what I’ve been trained to live for.

From within the Democrat party I’ll vote against the worst of the worst and probably wind up with someone roughly equivalent of the Republican that was running anyway.

When the Republican leadership sees it’s ranks dropping to between 25 to 45% of it’s current levels, perhaps they’ll find merit in respecting Conservatives again.

They for sure don’t now.

“Call your congressman on your own. And donate the cash to FR if you want to help make a difference.”

Good advice. They may not listen, but then at least the $30 goes for something that isn't a scam. I would love to see someone in his district challenge him. He needs to go as soon as possible.

“Why is this plan different from anything else out there?

Because for just $29.95 it allows you to send a direct message to every single House Republican that cannot be overlooked.”

Despicable. I hate it when I get emails like this that sound good in the beginning, but end up being profitable for the slime sending it.

I much prefer NumbersUSA that will send faxes for free and only request donations.

“If they can’t get enough votes in the HOR to oppose Obama, their conservative rhetoric is a fraud. It would mean that our only hope is for the federal government to break down and at least some states and localities might successfully emerge from the chaos.”

I’m sorry grania. Third times the charm!

I’ve been thinking that for a while, watching fascism take hold here without anyone noticing. There’s no way we can roll back all the destructive changes, since people don’t see it as bad when they are personally benefitting.

Cloward-Pivan is in full swing now, but I have a glimmer of hope that if the crash that comes from it happens soon, enough of us that were taught the Constitution and an unrevised history will still be around to make the outcome the opposite of what the liberals want.

See my tagline ;). I was yorkiemom here, but since my move out of Mexifornia to a rural self-sufficient lifestyle is imminent, I wanted a screen name reflecting that. I hope to encourage more to do the same and be ready!

An ordinary e-mail works the best. All of the Congressional members have official e-mail accounts which their staff monitor on a constant basis.

The contact pages on their web sites get attention too.

What the staffers are actually looking for is a message from a constituent requesting assistance with a federal department. The staff often has contacts in various departments and can resolve some problems with a phone call or two. If nothing else, the staff usually can give helpful advice.

Congressmen like to show off their clout in this manner. It doesn't really cost them anything and it builds a lot of good will.

Any other content in a message will get at most a polite form letter in reply. A critical or irate message usually will get no reply.

It is all the same really. Congressmen do not care what you think or what you want. They don't need to.
