Just as were expected to provide for our own _physical_ food, shelter, etc were also expected to provide for our own _physical_ defensive tools. I know what you're saying. And as people living in a fallen world, Christians may defend themselves, with deadly force if necessary. I was just saying, in a lighthearted way, that in my vocation as a pastor, I do not rely on the weapons of this world.

Seeing no mention of the cause of the firing. Also, was the violent reaction anticipated? Something doesn’t fit. The man had been there for a long time. Did they offer severance pay? Very poor reporting, they have lost the ability to write.
