I guess it migh be viewed that way by a liberal who lives offt the state teat and doesn’t like to work for a living. Criminals don’t like police officers the same way that liberals don’t like conservatives. It’s accountability, personal responsibility, and being punished for doing wrong when it hurts other people they don’t like...

This unvarying tendency toward atrocity suggests that all these regimes had something in common, and it’s not that they all suffered from boils. It’s the lust for vengeance--revenge for slights and crimes either real or imaginary, that can be found in every leftist from Nechaev to Bill Ayers. No less than Barack Obama spilled that when,his back apparently against the wall in 2012, he began ranting about “voting for revenge”...

Because it reflects the cloud-borne theories of Academic neurotics, desperate to prove their fantasies, it has been boosted by a claimed litany of virtues; but the fact is, it has poisoned the well of political & social discourse; and it has done immense damage to all of those, for whom it has pretended a benefit.
