If you took the over on 19 votes, you won! There were 25 defectors on the Speaker, a number tantalizingly close to the 29 they needed. But then, that makes sense:

We might as well face it.
The NWO is making sure their people are in power regardless of party.
It doesn’t matter who is in office.
We the people have no real representation in D.C.
To get it, a revolution would be required.

Boehner has shown himself to be a bum.

He coulda been a contender.

But he chose to be a RINO traitorous bum.

He coulda had class. He coulda been somebody.

Let's face it, he took too many dives for the short-end Socialist agenda.

And with this, my affiliation with the GOP is now officially over after more than 30 years.

I give Gowdy the benefit of the doubt on this one.

It is more important that he retain his committee position to go after the White House and the Cabinet, than to make a show vote that would never prevail.

Agree.

The GOP is not fixable from within.

Time for the Liberty Conservative party to be formed.

GOP has record numbers in the house and a feckless RINO leader.

Print out who voted for Boner and paste it on the wall, remember who they are and never let them live it down.

Also, remember how many were supported by Palin and in turn voted for Boner.

The fix is in. Time for a real conservative alternative party.

I’m going to try to get The Conservative Party in my state. People are tired of both parties.

This kabuki dance shows just how much contempt these clowns have for voters. Cheap theater. Choreographed to appear like the outcome wasn’t known.

Haven’t found the exact total but it appears to have been some 405 votes total. 216 Boehner,
164 Pelosi and 25 other or present. Thus Boehner only needed 203 votes to win.

The Republicans who voted against Boehner were Reps. Justin Amash (Mich.),
Rod Blum (Iowa), Dave Brat (Va.), Jim Bridenstine, Curt Clawson, Scott DesJarlais
(Tenn.), Jeff Duncan (S.C.), Chris Gibson (N.Y.), Louis Gohmert (Texas), Paul Gosar
(Ariz.), Scott Garrett (N.J.), Walter Jones (N.C.), Tim Huelskamp (Kan.), Steve King
(Iowa), Thomas Massie (Ky.), Mark Meadows (N.C.), Richard Nugent (Fla.), Gary Palmer
(Ala.), Bill Posey (Fla.), Scott Rigel (Va.), Marlin Stutzman (Ind.), Randy Weber
(Texas), Daniel Webster (Fla.) and Ted Yoho (Fla.).

Rep. Brian Babbin (R-Texas) voted present.

Issa had a show committee.
So does Gowdy.

Who has resigned, been fired or referred to the Justice Department
for jail time over what Gowdy has uncovered?
NO ONE.

Plus Gowdy did not even have the courage to vote.

He is a coward and a fraud.

Who cares about primaries. The GOP cannot be repaired. It is owned by the Chamber of Communists.

GOP?

You keep using that word.

I do not thin’ it means what you thin’ it means.

In any case, it no longer means anything to me.

Trey Gowdy is starting to look like another young Lindsay Graham in 1998 (tough on the RAT president but ALL TALK and no action).

1 - The House doesn’t have sentencing powers.

2 - They’re not done yet.

In North Carolina, I can still vote in the Republican primary. It looks like I can get the form on-line and mail it in to change to independent.

I’m Unaffiliated. Can I vote in the primary?
If you registered as an Unaffiliated voter and want to vote in the Primary, you can ask for the Democratic Party primary ballot, the Republican Party primary ballot, or neither. Your choice does not change your Unaffiliated status or obligate you to vote for a party’s candidates in the General Election. However, if there is a Primary Run-off, you can only participate in the Run-off of the same party that you selected in the original Primary.
