The article says that Smoltz campaiged for Georgia Republicans and I have cited documentiob that shows Biggio is a Republican.

If I were Curt, I would worry about that wasted $115 million.

“Schilling’s argument is that he did not get elected to the Hall of Fame in 2015 due to the fact that he is a Republican.”

Baloney. Read the article ...

“I don’t think that it kept me out or anything like that,”

“Yes is read the article and it points to nothing except that Curt is a delusional cry baby.”

Really?

“When human beings do something, anything, there’s bias and prejudice,” Schilling said. “Listen, nine percent of the voters did not vote for Pedro. There’s something wrong with the process and some of the people in the process when that happens.

"Craig Biggio was never in the closet regarding his politics and publicly endorsed Bush in 2004."

I stand corrected about Biggio's politics; I just never heard about it before, whereas I had heard many derogatory comments from journalists about Schilling's politics and personality. But you still haven't addressed the fact that Schilling had better stats than Smoltz in all major categories except saves, which usually isn't a consideration for starting pitchers.

Schilling will get into the HoF one day, but for now he is being penalized for being an absolute a hole.

At least that is what people that have played with him or worked in the baseball organizations he was with have said.

Or maybe because he’s kind of a jerk?

That is my guess as well...Maybe many reporters found Schilling difficult to deal with...Nolan Ryan is in HOF. He is close to former Prez G.W. Bush. But, Ryan still got in.

I think Schilling was a very good pitcher. But, I do not think his political inclinations had anything to do with the snub.
