If all else fails, just rent a PO box in another state and tell them you moved there. It will be cancelled pronto. Most. Stupid. Administration. Ever.

So I guess I will have to pay a penalty. It's not a penalty. That's such harsh language. Use the IRS term - "Shared Responsibility Payment."

They’ll just have to wait until next year. When it’s worse.

Wait till they find out that your fine (mine) will be based on the income of the ENTIRE house.
My parents are elderly so I moved in with them. I will have to have a copy of their tax return when I file mine.
And THAT will determine what I will be fined.

Why do we need state or federal run these things called “exchages”?
I don’t buy my clothes, houses, automobiles, food, or gasoline from an “exchange.” I use this thing called a “free market” which provides for the free exchange of goods and services for money at market-clearing prices.

My sister is in the same boat. She quit her job to help take care of our invalid mom. She gets some alimony, but the cost of Obamacare without any subsidy makes it so it’s cheaper for her to pay the IRS instead. She’s healthy enough so that the big deductibles aren’t worth it. I hope this gets put down before she’s required to buy it.

I assume they are counting “enrollees” as those who join through state exchanges as well?
I live in Blue New York, and I was FORCED to buy my insurance through the corrupt, crony-capitalist, progressive “Exchange.”

I think Roberts will fear the anger caused by the disruption of Bobocare and decide to bail it out again. He will agree that Congress actually intended to provide subsidies for all.

if the Supreme Court finds in favor of the plaintiffs, it would mean that the 5.6 million people currently receiving subsidies via Healthcare.gov, the federally run exchange, would no longer receive those paymentsAnd should have to pay back any they have already received but don't hold your breath waiting for that to happen.

> very few of those enrollees currently receiving a subsidy could afford healthcare without federal assistance.
Or pay back the subsidy they have been given.

At least those insanely annoying Obamacare "we're your pets" jingles finally stopped airing out here in Calif. every five minutes. It was like living in north Korea with the state-run TV channel blaring.
