I'm not saying the way he ultimately handled it was correct.
Apparently he stuck his head in the sand and concentrated on his coaching.

The facts are that PSU/JoePa won 111 games AFTER the police were notified that Sandusky was molesting boys. JoePa and the PSU administration were aware of these allegations and actively took steps to place winning football ahead of child victims. JoePa knew and did very little to protect the victims and ferret out Sandusky for punishment.
Restoring the wins only adds further injury to the victims and their families. It is a disgusting thing the NCAA did yesterday.
