From article:
“If the senator is as skilled at the business of campaigning as he is debating, he could surge into the top tier of candidates and propel himself beyond South Carolina. Getting there usually depends at least somewhat on how a candidate performs in Iowa and New Hampshire.”

Lets see.
With he prestigious degrees, proven success in his legal career, ability to win a senatorial race and superb debating ability they can dismiss him as “stupid”.
So they turn to the back up demonization method: he’s crazy.

So far he seems to be avoiding the Bear Trap of using people from McCain’s staff.
Proves he is smarter than Bush, Romney or Christy.

I think presidential candidates would be wise to announce cabinet positions (not all, but SOS, SG .. etc.) during the campaign
Let a whistle stop be town hall meeting .. even if it's in a cornfield.
We always learn about appointees after the election and all we know are 4 people .. potus/flotus and vp w/wife.

He is a mean, bare-knuckles brawler,
That is what it will take to win this one. Remember the Dem's vote early and often, and they count the votes.
We must win this one in a Landslide, an overwhelming win. That way the Dem's can not steal the election from us.
I will vote for Ted Cruz, early and often if I must.

It’s worth considering that Ted is playing the long game. The 2016 nomination and subsequent loss of a GOP establishment type like Jeb Bush strengthens an ongoing Cruz argument (the mushy center loses) and gives him more advantage for 2020 and 2024. Reagan wasn’t immediately successful either.

Cruz supports unrestricted legal immigration and pathway to citizenship like Rubio. This is amnesty no matter how you slice and dice it.
Cruz also just got elected to the Senate. Finish your term, Mr. Cruz.

but his support will be intense among those voters who have the highest anger score. The HACKS just cannot help themselves and must get their digs in.
I mean really, we're all just very nice gentile folk who wouldn't hurt a fly.
