If the SC primary were held today he would get my vote.

“Why would Lindsthy Graham take votes from conservatives in a Republican primary?”
******************************************************************************************************
Because a substantial number of low-information Republicans in South Carolina are foolish enough to believe that he is conservative instead of a McCain mini-me.

When campaigning for Cruz please don’t forget to tell people to WATCH FOR the media trying to Palinize him. They will run with one little flaw or one misunderstanding -— OR CREATE ONE —a and do their very good job of getting 2/3 of America to believe he is stupid or crazy.

The media / lib estab WILL DO THIS. They may not wait Til he gets traction.

There is only one way to combat this and it’s by explaining to LIVs that this will happen before it does.

Why would Lindsthy Graham take votes from conservatives in a Republican primary?

Like any home state senator, he'd be a favorite son candidate and take votes from everyone. And except for his idiocy on amnesty and immigration, Graham is mostly a conservative. - He'd have no chance in other red states because his amnesty positions would kill him, but not in his home state.

And he might well win the primary, particularly if the Dem race is not very competitive and Dems decided to crossover and vote from Lindsey to cause mischief (open primary state). Some think many Dems vote for him as senator since there is little chance of a Dem winnning in SC.

The point would be to prevent Cruz or any conservative from winning the first conservative state primary, and thereby gaining momentum and becoming a frontrunner.

That’s probably a fair assessment.

Many have a hand in this game, American ex pats around the world have left the USA, and will not return WITH their capital, until Ted Cruz is in his second term as president.

And if that does not happen, they will not return.

They voted with their feet long ago.

Elections have consequences. A huge drain has occurred that NO ONE is talking about. That’s why Obama continues to chase those foreign ex-pat bank accounts using the IRS.

(Cruz) has something most other aspiring candidates lack – a wide open path to get where he want to go.

CRUZ or LOSE!

I like that. I wonder what are the chances the Cruz campaign would adopt that for one of their slogans?

As a point of reference, let’s remember that Lindy did NOT deliver SC for McCain in ‘08. Gingrich won SC and that was his “last hurrah”.

McCain won SC in 2008. Gingrich won in 2012.

Hmmmmmmm...... Are you sure? You may very well be right, but I sure thought Gingrich won the SC Primary in ‘08; not 2012.

Gingrich didn’t enter the 2008 primary.

I know. He squeaked by in both rounds and that’s with a LOT of cash

Reagan is the last republican we had. He was successful because he was a humble but confident true conservative

That’s what wins

What are you Smoking Ted?

Look, I’d like to see Cruz win too, but the GOPe, the establishment won’t let him near the White House.

Same with the Sarah Palin crowd, like her, but it’s not going to happen.

The jaded, “deflated balls”, grey men in grey suits of the so-called GOPe are going to stop the super dynamic, super smart, super debater Ted Cruz, who already has South Carolina primary voters eating out of his hands, from winning the South Carolina GOP primaries are they?
Dream on mate. Ted Cruz WILL win the South Carolina GOP primaries. And you an take that to the bank.
