NOTHING is EVER good enough for the whiners.
Perfect example is blacks in TV. Usually the sitcoms.
Show them poor and living in Section 8, like GOOD TIMES, they scream. “TOO STEREOTYPICAL!!!!”
Show them well-off solid family in top professions - COSBY SHOW (apologies for any BC problems today) - they scream. “UNREALISTIC! DOESN’T SHOW HOW DOWNTRODDEN WE ARE!”

“How the hell could anyone hate Cheers? That show had some hysterical moments.”
Absolutely! I've had a lot of stress lately, and sometimes put something on Netflix to relax before falling asleep (it's healthier than drinking...). I recycled some Cheers episodes during this time, and they are great. What guy hasn't known a Lilith? The episode where Cliff explains how beer makes you smarter was great.

Amazing.
I drive them to lesbianism....
...he brings them back!!!

Key phrase is “SOME hysterical moments”.
Cheers was OK. Overrated.

“Still, Jennifer is like the kind of pretty girl next door that every guy in America had a crush on growing up in high school and felt lucky to take to the prom. Imperfections and all.”
Absolutely agree. I have no idea what she’s like for real, but this is the persona that I saw too.

Very few shows from the 80s and 90s would pass PC muster today. Proof positive that PC is BS. Best series from the 80's was "Taxi"; best episode was the one where Jim was taking his written driver's exam.
Jim [whispering]:"What does a yellow light mean?"
Group [whispers back]:"Slow down"
Jim: [whispers]:"What....does....a....yelllow....light....mean?"
Group [exasperated]:"Slow down!"
Jim:[whispers]:"Whaaaaat......doeeessss....aaaaa....yelllloooow....liiiight....meeaaannn?"

Thats according to the historical revisionists over at Slate, where Ruth Graham has been taking notes while binge-watching reruns on Netflix.
She gives Joey a pass and comes down hard on Chandler -- a sign that maybe it's not all about political correctness with her.
Indeed, slamming Chandler for wimpiness doesn't look terribly PC, whatever she says about Chandler's dad-mom.
The show wasn't that great when it was on. Maybe its flaws have caught up to it over the years.

I never saw the appeal in Roberts either, but she does seem to get better with age. I don’t think it’s surgery either. I know a guy who met her, he said that in real life, she is a stunner.

“How the hell could anyone hate Cheers?”
Well, let’s see;
Obnoxious, unfunny lead character, Ted Danson.
Even more obnoxious Woody Harrelson
Incredibly obnoxious female lead, who I told my friends who thought she was hot, that she would become obese,,,and she sure did.
Couple funny minor characters.
That’s it! I thought the show sucked!

“Friends” was one of the most liberal shows created; of the various pairings and parents, not one child featured is born within a natural nuclear family (to a married couple that are the biological parents).
Freak show for liberal atheist whites to use as a primer...

Ha - true story: the constant pushing of Julia Roberts on the world as the "Pretty Woman" way back when, with the onslaught of magazine covers, TV spots, and so on that insisted she was the most beautiful woman in the world, was one of the things that forced me to realize how completely full of s*** the media was, AND how far they would go to push a chosen agenda. Even when I was a horny teenager Roberts was never more than mediocre at best and it truly irritated me whenever the media idiots pushed her on us.
Also true: I had a guy in my Army platoon who looked so much like Aniston (face-wise, heh) that I believed they had to be related. When Friends came out I had been out a few years, and as soon as I saw her I actually researched to see if she was his sister (apparently not). I think Aniston is attractive, but I can't look at her without seeing my old platoon buddy. Kind of kills the arousal potential
