This is why, other then for the local eats, I will only do at most either a Wendy’s or a Subway. No fan of McD’s.

5 guys is good, but the fact that there’s not one nearby and pricepoint make it my number 2...
I too recall the fries and actually McNuggets [before I found out was in them].
The last thing I recall eating at McD’s was a McGriddle more than year ago...I’ve given up on our local store as it’s just not that good...

CFA sandwiches are good, and I think Wendy’s actually does a pretty good job with theirs.
Since there’s no CFA in our area, Wendy’s is my sub for them.
