Most Vaccines Should be Voluntary

Rand Paul: Most vaccines should be ‘voluntary’ By ADAM B. LERNER 2/2/15 2:42 PM EST Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) waded into the debate over vaccinations Monday, telling conservative talk show host Laura Ingraham that he thinks most vaccines should be “voluntary.” Paul, an ophthamologist and likely 2016 White House hopeful, expressed particular concern over mandatory vaccinations for sexually transmitted diseases. He criticized former Texas Gov. Rick Perry for his executive order mandating that Texas children receive the HPV vaccine. “I’m not anti-vaccine at all,” Paul said, but “I think that’s a personal decision.”

My first came as a result of the common cold.
The second was after heart surgery, caught it quick,

The third was from I don’t know where. I just developed a cough that lasted for weeks, then when I coughed up a brown phlegm I knew what it was and went straight to the doctor.

Now I get the vaccine.

My granduncle caught it many years ago from trail dust while on a cattle drive. the doctor treated it with kerosene back then.

I agree with your issues and have the same concerns.

In addition to those concerns, I also worry about the increased number of vaccines being recommended by the CDC. Especially a recommendation to vaccinate newborn babies for Hep B when most Newborns are not even at risk for Hep B.

https://naturalfamilyblog.files.wordpress.com/2015/02/whistleblower-15.jpg?w=500&h=500

The Fact that the CDC has manipulated the data and they refuse to investigate the autism link screams corruption in my opinion.

I see. Lied by omitting data which was suspect. Which really is suspect: if the numbers in that data from the Georgia study played out in the general population then it would be incredibly easy to verify - there would be a much larger percentage of black males with autism. Please show me anything that demonstrates that. Or even localized to Georgia.

Actually, you kind of proved my point. “At risk sooner or later” is in reality at least a decade away, maybe a decade and a half. By the time a Hep B vaccinated newborn would need such a vaccination, they would probably need to be re vaccinated. With the exception of babies born to prostitutes or IV drug using mothers, there is no reason to give newborns HEP B shots. If Hep B truly were a critical health issue, it would be far better to mandate Hep B vaccinations somewhere around 12-15 yrs of age. Then it would be at its greatest effectiveness when the chances of needing it were actually possible/likely.

So, a national policy/vaccine guideline that ALL new borns should get them IS just like treating everyone as a potential terrorist just to stop islamic terrorists. It is a horrible overreach, based in political correctness for a very small % return. I do not know about you but I think it is insane to pretend that little old white ladies and babies are just as likely to be suicide bombers as muslims. It is also poses an unreasonable risk of harm to the larger group of people affected by such “non scientific” theory.

Have you had your vitamin d3 status checked?

If not, do so.

If you supplement, look into taking or eating foods with vitamin K2. Ask your doc before supplementing with that.

I used to get pneumonia several times a year, from common colds and even seasonal allergies. Since supplementing with d3 I haven’t had pneumonia in 7 years now. Also helps ameliorate cancer risk.

I just looked this up, I did not know this. There is a theory that more older adults will contract shingles in the future due to children getting the chicken pox vaccine. The reason for this is that after having chicken pox, repeated exposure over your lifetime to children who have chicken pox acts like a booster to the adults immune system. Now that children are receiving the vaccine, and childhood chicken pox is eliminated ( although most likely to reoccur as people age) adults are no longer getting the booster effect, making them more susceptible to shingles. I find that very interesting.

They mandate these guidelines because they treat everyone the same, and to the lowest common denominator. They know the dirtball mother will not get her child vaccinated against hepatitis B when their child in in their teens, so they mandate everyone get it when they are born.
I for one, would do what was right for my family if I had kids. I would refuse the hep shot until my child was in their teens. Do not treat me like the ghetto mother.

.
>> “Most of the vaccines that are administered routinely are made from killed or attenuated virus that cannot cause disease” <<

.
That is simply completely false.

First, viri cannot be “attenuated.”

Second, no vaccine has ever been produced that doesn’t contain active, live SV40.
.

The data wasn’t suspect.

You do realize why they left out that particular data?

Yes?

It wasn’t just this one paper, either:

“I have a boss who’s asking me to lie...Higher ups wanted to do certain things and I went along with it. In terms of command, I was 4 out of 5.”

“...the effect [autism] is where you would think it would happen. It is with the kids without other conditions [”isolated autism”]...I’m just looking at this and I’m like ‘Oh my God....I cannot believe we did what we did...but we did [bury the data on these children]...It’s all there...It’s all there. I have handwritten notes.’”

Lots of info on this here too:

The anti-vaxxers are miniscule in number,

It's all about choice. Forced vaccinations are bullshit.

There are plenty of people out there who want to be cautious about vaccinations, and they have every right to be. And they vehemently oppose mandatory vaccinations. I have to agree, because it's another example of expanding state power to an arbitrary level.

If the state can force you to be injected against your will, they can pretty much do anything they want.

And our society should not be predicated on granting government the power to do virtually anything they want.

Better for there to be a few additional outbreaks of disease than to tolerate such arbitrary power.

I categorically reject such compromises with respect to individual Freedom; if it creates a situation which gives the state arbitrary power, it's wrong, no matter how "good for society" it portends to be.

I think these “policies” of “equal treatment” is quite PC - don’t want to offend the ones who account for the vast majority of STDs and a lot of other health problems, so everyone gets hit with the same meat axe. Don’t like it at all. The Devil is always lurking in the details.

“By the time a Hep B vaccinated newborn would need such a vaccination, they would probably need to be re vaccinated.”

Well, seeing as the vaccines last for at least 20 years and young people are sexually active long before that nowadays, this isn’t true.

“If Hep B truly were a critical health issue, it would be far better to mandate Hep B vaccinations somewhere around 12-15 yrs of age.”

Rick Perry tried that with the HPV vaccine and still got grief about it. So, it seems there is no point trying to please anti-vaxxers, since they will complain no matter when you schedule the shot.

“I do not know about you but I think it is insane to pretend that little old white ladies and babies are just as likely to be suicide bombers as muslims.”

Again, that’s a bad comparison, a false analogy. Vaccinations work by vaccinating everyone, or realistically, as many as possible, not just those at the highest risk.

Some schools have already told students who haven’t been vaccinated for Measles to stay home. Some doctors have refused to see unvaccinated patients.

<><><<><

Funny. You seem to want choice when it comes to getting vaccinations, but don’t want others to have that same privilege - choosing who to admit into school, or choosing what patients to see.

Whoopie, a blog post unsupported by any actual scientific data. Let's stay focused here. Show me data that shows a higher than expected autism rate in black males in either the United States or Georgia.

I know this is an impossible task as there isn't any supporting data. The data that was omitted from the report was properly discarded as the data was suspect. It picked up a spike because of early start pre-school for autistic black males which required vaccinations.

So yes, please, continue on your lovely conspiracy, but until you can show ANYTHING that indicates a higher level of incidence of autism in black males that receive the MMR vaccine that is TRIPLE the rate among ANY other ethnic group, then it is what it was - data that wasn't useful for the study.

If it's a public school of course it should be a parental decision. The exception would be people coming from other countries who often bring diseases with them. As far as doctors not seeing patients, I can't agree. If they feel that way, maybe there should be a pre-screening before anyone enters a doctor's office or hospital. It's bullying by the medical profession to make decisions for their patients.

Doctors should be partners with patients in the decision making process, not dictators.

” Show me data that shows a higher than expected autism rate in black males in either the United States or Georgia.”

We’ve been discussing this for several posts now.

Pay attention.

There was data showing a link. CDC officials TOSSED it. And HAVE ADMITTED to doing so.

One, in particular, has admitted to doing so. And promptly lawyered up. I suspect because the industry indemnification legislation does NOT cover individuals committing data fraud.

And the CDC boss that was asking Thompson to lie about the data? Is now head of Merck’s vaccine division.

From the link you posted, “The whistleblower, Dr. William Thompson, came forward after a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request for original data on an autism study was filed and these highly sensitive documents were received with the assistance of U.S. Representative Darrell Issa, Chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee. The CDC documents and discussions with the whistleblower reveal widespread manipulation of scientific data and top-down pressure on CDC scientists to suppress a causal link between the MMR vaccine and later autism diagnosis, particularly in a subset of African-American males who received their immunization “on-time” in accordance with the recommended CDC schedule.

The CDC continues to promote vaccination for MMR in spite of the problems/link to autism. “top-down pressure on CDC scientists to suppress a causal link between the MMR vaccine and later autism diagnosis”.

Apparently the “top-down” pressure is significant and still being used to this day.

“Second, no vaccine has ever been produced that doesn’t contain active, live SV40.”

I was referring to the attenuated live virus in, for example, the MMRV vaccine. From the CDC website:

“MMR is an attenuated (weakened) live virus vaccine. This means that after injection, the viruses grows and causes a harmless infection in the vaccinated person with very few, if any, symptoms. The person's immune system fights the infection caused by these weakened viruses and immunity develops which lasts throughout that person’s life.”
