Conservative Republicans should understand that, when they look across the aisle, they do not see the “loyal opposition” but he political ENEMY.

A fair assessment, I think, is that JFK started out as a poor president and was evolving into an above average president at the time of his assassination.
He didn't understand the danger of Castro, but he did understand the value of tax cuts. On the average, he was a mediocre president on par with Harry Truman which made them the best Democrat presidents of the 20th century.
If forced to choose between JFK and Truman, I'd pick JFK since throwing Cuba to the Communists was far less serious than throwing China to the Communists.
No Repub is more battle-tested and provably accomplished than Walker is right now. He has a great record in Wisconsin, is proud of it, and actually relishes doing battle with the left. The man has no fear, and that is a rare commodity in the GOP.
I’ll take Cruz over Walker. But either would be good for our country.
The Civil War was a done deal with the three/fifths compromise and the cotton gin.
If Walker wins the primaries (as well as before), efforts should be made to make him "see the light," to persuade him to admit how destructive amnesty is. Wasn't Reagan's amnesty have been an "one time deal"? Amnesty will only encourage more and more undesirable illegals to enter the US. It is an effective way to destroy this country.
Not for the top spot on the ticket. In some limited cases, e.g., Ted Cruz for VP, an exception could be made.

I totally agree. The Senate is nothing more than a clubby, House of Lords environment where standing your ground is seen as gauche. Most of Ted Cruz' contemporaries -- dem or GOP -- would love nothing more than to bounce him out of their comfy little outfit.
Amnesty is THE guaranteed way for leftists and elites to accomplish their ultimate goal and impose socialism/communism on our country.
exactly. shove every false premise down their throat until you get a true one. never answer anything based on a false premise. every false leftist premise should be treated as an “opportunity” to expound on why it is false.

People like Walker because he is a man of action and not one who pays lip service to conservative ideals while pushing for more big government, nanny state programs.
I certainly hope so, that's what I'd have said. Walker's my guy at this point, though we need to pin him down on amnesty and common core.
