It's a good thing they were so technologically advanced as to be able to invent those giant media screens! Oh, wait...
A 7th century culture using 21st century technology is a baaaad combination.

Where the hell were the drones? Women and children? All valid targets.

This is worse than Medieval. This sounds like something one of the more depraved Roman Emperors might have come up with, given 21st century technology.

God that is an evil face! Both of them not just Obola. What’s up with that smile Valarie? She probably enjoyed viewing the burning.

Would have been a great time and location for ginormous fuel-air bomb.
If they couldn't rescue the poor bastard, they could at least take out a bunch of the animals being "entertained" by his death.

“Raqqa is presently a city consisting of human shields. Once again: What to do? Sooner or later in war, civilians have to be in harms way.”
If we acept the obvious, that if you support terrorism, and that city does support terrorism, then they are terrorists, NOT CIVILIANS!
‘Nuff said.
Make the rubble bounce!

If you’re going to put on a spectacle, you have to make sure people see it. I hope if the Jordanians find an ISIS camp and blow it to smithereens, they not only broadcast it but offer it for pay-per-view with slo-mo and close-ups.

What is ISIS's strategy? They took themselves out of any possible prisoner swaps in the future.
If it's to de-stablize Jordan they must be counting on in-country Jordanians to rise.

“The Holy Spirit is at work in many souls.”
Your argument assumes Muslims have souls. Strict proof is requested.
If one decided to follow Islam, and as Islam is the opposite of G*d’s Laws in far too many ways, it would be arguable that one has lost one’s soul to Satan.
No soul, so no possible sin in killing when said “soulless become a threat to the lives of those who follow the law.
In closing, if you expect Muslims to change, We hope you brought lunch.
PS Godot said to tell you, you should have brought a farm.

Oh, but God is already at work. Many Moslems have become Christians already. Revival is taking place as many people in the Middle East are seeing the evil of Islam. It's small now, but it's real.

I guess the road to Basra was not enough, or perhaps too far back in time now. Time for a redo.

I’ve often wondered the same. Sadaam certainly was no angel, but his regime did stabilize the region.
Waging war with him over the stated purpose of getting his WMD’s just never made sense. It’s like cops giving notice to drug dealers they will be at their home in a few days to take all their drugs.
