CBS NEWS February 7, 2015 Republican Lawmaker: Childbirth Resulting From Rape Is "Beautiful"
A Republican state legislator from West Virginia said Thursday that women should not be allowed to abort pregnancies resulting from rape because the child that could result from it is "beautiful."
"For somebody to take advantage of somebody else in such a horrible and terrifying and brutal way is absolutely disgusting," said West Virginia Del. Brian Kurcaba during a hearing on proposed new abortion restrictions, CBS Charleston affiliate WOWK-TV reports. "But what is beautiful is the child that could come as a production of this."
Kurcaba later said in a statement that his comments didn't fully represent his views, WOWK-TV reports.
"I apologize to anyone who took my comments about the sanctity of human life to mean anything other than that all children are precious regardless of circumstances," he said in the statement.

The first reports (and I’m sure they’re still being circulated) had him saying “Rape is beautiful.”
Even the catholic church allows for the use of Plan B meds in the case of rape. There is never any need for a person who was raped to even conceive.
Any politician that doesn’t know this is an idiot. And they make the rest of us look like idiots.
If the Democrats believe that rape resulting in the birth of a child is so terrible they should start killing the rapists not the babies.
He was 100% right and the child is beautiful...we need to stop executing babies for the sins of their fathers...Democrats should be all for that...
What they should be careful to say, which is what they mean, is that childbirth is beautiful regardless of the means of conception....childbirth is a miracle which we all get to witness...the men who are rapists are evil creatures who must be dealt with accordingly....but to kill the child because the father was a badass is an even more heinous crime.
